I appreciate the list you provided. I want to be a collaborator. I know I do have contributions to offer, but because it feels intangible, I have difficulty putting value on that contribution.

I have much to learn from you on this score. I recognize that working together with partners is way more fun and productive.

Why do you think it’s hard to make it happen? Have you found THE collaborative project that really makes you sing? You definitely have the skill set to make it happen. Whatever we can do for you here, let us know. Also, if you have specific questions about collaboration — whatever that may be — write it out here. Richard is making the process of collaboration a study, creating solid content about it, but the more feedback from people about the real issues with collaboration the better. We want to address those things. This community is a collaboration, and I want to really flesh this subject out.

It’s your kind and acknowledging words why I do it. And because I believe in people. I sincerely do. Perhaps part of that comes from my background as a teacher. I used to teach 4th graders, and then follow them up to 5th grade. I’d spend two years teaching a young person. All subjects. What that experience taught me was that ANYTHING is doable with consistency. There were students who could barely read, and two years later they’d be reading at an 8th grade level, and have heaps of confidence heading into middle school. And there was no one pace that fit every kid. Everyone had their own ebb and flow. That’s how I look at what we’re doing here.

The Renegade Community provides so much support! What a boost! All of which is **in addition to** the training and other programs. “Ye who are weary come home.”

This community has benefitted from many fine leaders, but I have to single out Eric Walker who quickly befriended me on Better Networker about a year ago, willingly provided words of support and useful advice, and has been a consistent model of doing the right things. Without a doubt he does this for tons of other people… I don’t know how he finds the time. Thanks Eric for all you’re doing.

Collaboration is definitely where it’s at. I know it’s important but sometimes it’s hard for me to make it happen. I don’t know if I’m afraid to ask or nervous the project won’t turn out. Or if collaboration is harder online.
