This movie requires Flash Player 9

Marketing Merge Professional is the joint cumulative effort and creation of Mike Klingler’s Marketing Merge and Ann and Isaiah Sieg’s 80/20 Marketing. The goal of Marketing Merge Professional is to empower the entrepreneurial revolution that is predicted to shape the economy over the next decade.

With this mission and vision in mind, Marketing Merge Professional met in Portland, OR USA over a long weekend from July 30 – August 2 to discuss, unify and officially collaborate and unite, so as to further synergize an efficient team effort.

Here is the MMP team during a break. We took a mild hike at Forest Park to excercise and stretch our legs.

In attendance were Mike Klingler, Diyana Alcheva, Ann Sieg, Isaiah Sieg, Eric Walker, Barbara Silva, Candace Hogan and Justin Gehring.

David Garfinkel Visits Portland and Partners with Marketing Merge Professional

David Garfinkel has an introductory copywriting training for all Super Guides, Trainers and Coaches. If you didn’t attend the live webinar, it is now available to everyone in the back office. A new product of David Garfinkel’s in collaboration with Marketing Merge Professional will be released soon.

Last year Ann and Isaiah Sieg’s Marketing Merge Professional team paid David Garfinkel 35K to train their employees in copywriting. This is an essential skill that has been identified as a crucial focus. Cultivating this skill, has, literally, paid itself off.

Good copywriting has one purpose, and that is for people to buy your products and services. If you are looking to be successful in any business endeavor, you must focus on content that solves a problem, and compells the reader to take action. This is where the ability to write persuasively is needed.

Not everyone has the skills for this, but you can learn quite easily. And that is where David Garfinkel enters the picture. He is known as the world’s best copywriting coach.

In the time he’s been working with Ann and Isaiah, he’s fallen in love with all things Marketing Merge Professional. David is thrilled with the vision that Marketing Merge Professional has, and all the things Marketing Merge Professional is doing.

Now David Garfinkel has partnered with Marketing Merge Professional. He is offering exclusive high end copywriting training to Super Guides, Trainers and Coaches as well as additional team members – all for free. David will teach copywriting in a whole new way that goes way beyond sales pages and incorporates interpersonal and relational values.

And this is an example of the Marketing Merge Professional mission and vision: as Marketing Merge Professional learns, so do its business “partners” and associates. This is an example of collaborative learning.

Meanwhile, David Garfinkel and Marketing Merge Professional will be offering a new copywriting course to the industry at large. Bottom line with David Garfinkel… he will teach you to write so that you inspire your readers to take action.

Featuring the Family

But there is a side story to the fact that David Garfinkel and Marketing Merge Professional have teamed up. One that speaks volumes about Marketing Merge Professional’s approach to business and life.

During the Marketing Merge Professional meet up in Portland, we met David Garfinkel because he was going to be in Portland too. David was in Portland because his brother lives in Portland, and his mother was being placed in an assisted living facility.

David didn’t have to, but he agreed to lunch with the Marketing Merge Professional team, and also did a video interview with Ann Sieg as well as intently listening to Mike Klingler summarize the mission and vision that Marketing Merge Professional had discussed over the course of the previous two days.

Point being, life and work aren’t ever separate. Because while David took the time to meet with Marketing Merge Professional, he also took Mike Klingler, Ann and Isaiah Sieg and Diyana Alcheva to meet his mother.

David and Mom

David and Mom

The emphasis here is that family and business are not separate, and Marketing Merge Professional not only understands that, but has also experienced it. The experience with David Garfinkel is not the only example.

Ann Sieg and Isaiah Sieg are a million dollar mother and son team. Ann’s other sons work with them too, and Brian Sieg takes care of the financials.

Eric Walker and his fiancé Kaitlin Rose and six month old daughter Ella Rose are moving to Portland, Oregon to work closer with Mike Klingler and Diyana Alcheva.

The point is that Marketing Merge Professional embraces the marriage between business and family, and recognizes the two as one. David Garfinkel made it a point to not only meet the Marketing Merge Professional team, have an interview with Ann, but also to introduce us to his mother whom he was placing into an assisted living facility.

In the Spotlight – Diyana (Didi) Alcheva

Diyana Alcheva

Diyana Alcheva

Diyana Alcheva leads the execution of new business development projects and maintains the integrity of existing processes for all things Renegade Professional.

She is responsible for making sure the vision of Renegade Professional is executed efficiently.

This means she delegates tasks to the proper team members, ensures that new projects work within the current systems and framework, as well as developing and enforcing policies as Renegade Professional adds on new partners and expands with new projects.

It’s been said many many times by Mike Klingler that she is the glue that holds it all together.

For anyone following the progress of Renegade University and Renegade Professional, Diyana Alcheva was involved from the beginning process, and accompanied Mike Klingler every step of the way.

Quite an experience for a 22 year old whose second language is English.

This alone was a great learning experience for Diyana. She has been working with Mike Klingler for almost four years now.

Diyana was among the first to be featured all over Renegade University and Renegade Professional in video trainings and articles, as she was not only working for Mike Klingler but also a student of his from the very beginning.

You will find that she appears first page of Google for such terms as “Network Marketing Leads” and “Twitter for Network Marketers” and others too. Point being, Diyana applies all that she has learned to her own business, and generates leads on a daily basis.

She maintains a 50+ hour work week and still has effectively developed her own brand and business with full time income results to show for it.

Because of Diyana’s participation with the development of Renegade Professional, she was doing a lot of research for her own business, which assisted in the development of the Renegade Professional training platform. This simultaneously branded herself as an expert in whatever topic she was teaching.

You can find Diyana’s training about bookmarking, Twitter, Facebook, Video Marketing, Blogging and more in your Renegade Professional back office.

Impressive Facts about Diyana Alcheva

  • Ann Sieg approached Diyana for a testimonial for The Renegade Network Marketer ebook, and it wasn’t because she worked for Mike Klingler, it was because of her personal results as an independent marketer.
    Diyana and Ann Sieg

    Diyana and Ann Sieg

  • Diyana has almost 100k Twitter followers
  • Created a free attraction marketing training ebook and 90 minute webinar joint venture with six other high profile women in the internet attraction marketing market place.
  • Diyana has five videos with more than five thousand views, and dozens with over one thousand views.

Due to the growth of Marketing Merge (Professional) and new developing projects Diyana is finding that she is developing into a full-fledged entrepreneur who will be capable of instructing and empowering the future entrepreneurial movement. Her ownership and partnership opportunities have moved her into a different level than most any ever reach in business (let alone a 24 year old. Ironically, Isaiah Sieg is also 24).

Go-Getting Go-Giver

Recently, it was Diyana’s idea to donate the domain she purchased, RenegadeProfessionalNews.com, with the idea to form a newsletter site. Diyana spearheaded the brainstorming efforts with Eric Walker and Mike Klingler knowing the partnership would create the same or even bigger opportunities than trying to create it all by herself.

Diyana is grateful and appreciative, knowing how much she is growing and developing while getting to work with the best business minds on the internet, and not only learn from them, but also get to contribute, partner, own, expand and further develop her personal brand.

Thank you for your reporting so well and keeping the “real” essence of what we are – a people business and giving to others. Besides all of the other great pictures you shared, that Mt. 6. What an exciting edition!

It really is amazing the caliber of people that the Renegade Professional is attracting…it’s so exciting. The great part is, as more great leaders come to Renegade Pro, the more people will be attracted. What a wonderful cycle of positive attraction Ann and Mike have started.

And how exciting to be part of it!

  7. Ann, Mike, and of course the rest of the team…

Truly unbelievable what a great job you two have done in such a short time having the vision of it all and bringing such a team together. As I read this newsletter it just seemed to get better each paragraph and I knew that I would have to reread it to take it all in.

This is the program I have waited two years to find, a program to take an internet entrepreneur, newbie or advanced, step by step by the hand, to put each step to bed in the mind for tomorrow.

Broad scope, tremendous range of ideas with bright leaders and trainers being made into a team that are destined to move the internet into a new way of doing business. Ann and Mike, you have done yourselves proud putting this together in such a short time. I feel blessed that I saw the forest for the tree and stayed the course with Renegade and Ann. But watch out for those cartwheels Ann!

Recently I’ve been going back to my old notes and the good old Renegade Network Marketer EBook in the sauna here at my place and as always something new just clicked! I ran to my computer and completely re hauled my complete website copy/look and feel and I doubled the traffic overnight!
You truly got something awesome going on here…

    Thank You.

  9. Rarely does one get an opportunity to be part of a new venture that is gathering momentum and where the leaders are sticking to their core competencies “coaching and training others to excellence”

I have found the tools you are providing essential for my business and future.

It looks as if the future is even brighter for those participating in the program…

  28. I was so excited by what Barbara Silva was explaining about the coaching that I was moved to tears. After a life long ambition and numerous life experiences I recently started my studies and declared my vision to become a coach. I am studying numerous courses, one of which will provide accreditation with the LOA under the Quantum Success Coaching Academy. I am in the process of developing a 5 step course to Empowering Yourself, which is why I started with Renegade Professionals. I realized after this call that I need to get my a– in gear in the back office and get ready for more exciting news you’ve promised to reveal. I Can’t Wait….Thanks for your heart and sincerity.

  30. Hello Anne, I remember first clicking on a site you had that became 80/20 as a questioning Monavie Distributer. It began a metamorphism into an Amway looking deal. Now I am interested in Renegade for a whole different reason.
I am a seasoned Road Warrior Instructor in the Healthcare (Radiology)arena. I notice under Renegade’s healthcare options Radiology is not offered. I would love to join your team as an instructor in this area. Contact me and I can
send you a copy of my resume. I love the philosophy of Renegade and you don’t seem to have an Eastern US
presence yet. I look forward to hearing from you.

  32. To all of the team,
Wow, you continue to amaze me! I am trying to figure out if I can find anything that I do not like about this whole experience. It is a wonderful ride, and I do not want to get off. You have all been instrumental in my growth as I continue to learn new skill sets. You know the old one about giving someone a fish for one day vs. teaching them how to fish… I still have a long way to go, but moving forward and building content are great feelings. Thanks for everything, and Oregon sounds fun. Bob.

@Wendy MacKay – It’s powerful to feel your passion. Were you on the webinar last night with Barbara for Renegade Professionals only? We’ve got lots of goodies in the bag for everyone, especially self driven individuals like you with goal and purpose in life who also take action.

Btw, does the Quantum Success Academy has anything to do with Sandra Anne Taylor’s book Quantum Success? (it’s one of if not my favorite book)

    @Cathy Fletcher – Yep! That’s our Ann! :)

@Suzanne – please contact Patrice at pbn@marketingmerge.com about your interest in coaching on Radiology.

I had attended the coaching mindset webinars hosted by Barbara Silva and they blew me away. I could truely hear a true passion in her voice and dedicated concern for the well being of people and their success
My questions is if you are offering this course only one time – or if you plan on offering it in the near future as well.
I’d like to become a coach but fear I might be too late in signing up.

The great thing that we have going on is that their staff can easily be trained in our program to take on the marketing for the business. There is a perfect business solution for everyone!

And the great thing is that it the benefits are not only for people who study in the the PBN training program, but for the lucky Renegade Professional Members that are able to become Renegade Professional PBN Trainers– there is no fee to become a PBN Trainer, you will just be in an amazing situation by having the opportunity to be a major part of Renegade Professional and build your business FAST! Many benefits for you all.

How to Speed Things Up…

How did we do it?  How did we create a multi-million dollar company out of thin air in less than 2 years?

Does it have more to do with being a “Go-Getter” or a “Go-Giver”?

Which is more powerful?

Which makes a business grow at the speed of light?

Two years ago I was learning how to create my first blog.

Now I have a network of them getting tens of thousands of visitors each month, producing thousands of leads to date, and they still roll in.  I don’t do all the work myself… In fact, I post less than 1% of the content to those blogs.

How did that happen?

I’ll share the real secret to ‘fast’  success with you here.

One and a half years ago I was learning how to post my first Squidoo lens, Ezine Article and use my first social bookmarking site.  Now I can take credit for co-founding the #1 training resource for beginners getting started in social marketing.

How did THAT happen?

Answer:

I gave A LOT to others FIRST, and for quite a while, with little or no compensation upfront.  I didn’t jump around… I focused on who I gave to and continued giving.

A multi-million dollar company was ‘magically’ manifested, in LESS than 2 years from the day I ‘got a vague idea’ and started on it.

Now it’s your turn…

You might not want a multi-million dollar company–but it doesn’t matter if we’re talking about an extra $30,000 a year, $100,000, or millions–there’s a way to do it fast–real fast (and by the way, 2 years IS fast when we’re talking about changing your life to be what you want it).

If you’re realistic, you can change things quick.  But to ensure it, you have to ‘get’ what it means to be a go-giver.

In order for this to work, it has to become as crystal clear as a glass of water.  Once that happens, you can’t help but do it right.

So, exactly what DID I do (that you can do) to speed up the success process?

Go-Getter vs. Go-Giver…

Yes, I worked hard.

I ‘went after it’ with a determination and focus that conjures up the image of a go-getter.  But it goes so much beyond that.

Teaching…. Collaborating… Participating Without Direct or Immediate Payment

It was in the “learning something”  that it all started.

I became a constant student… so much it literally hurt sometimes initially.

Stuffing a lot into your brain at turbo speeds is intense.  Overwhelm is a way of life during this phase of it.  This is the go-getter part, but it was always driven by an inspiration to then give it… to pass it on.  To contribute it to other people I wanted to partner with or service.

Often in the beginning I gave my knowledge only so I could learn.

Often I gave tremendous investment, long-term, just to ‘see’ what might happen (again, to learn).

Then, it was in the “teaching what I learned” where I found the secret to stratospheric success.

It was in the ‘faith oriented’  collaborations (working with others without an immediate or clear financial gain) that I found this secret.

It was in my PARTICIPATION that I found this secret.  Here, I’m not talking about just posting content on a social site, commenting, or doing stuff you should be doing–that’s a small piece of participation.

I’m speaking about highly evolved levels of contributing to the work of others… long-term, without losing focus, so I could develop deep relationships and partnerships.

How many times did I spend hours on the phone assisting people when I started 2 years ago?  How many hours invested only to give, learn and grow.

How many times did I spend learning something that was not easy for me to learn, only to share it on a Webinar (often for free).

We built Renegade University to help Ann Sieg sell more Renegade e-books (giving the affiliate commission to others), without asking for compensation or recognition.

Why?

THAT’S the go-giver secret.

Why did I email my entire list and send hundreds of people to Better Networker to assist Mike Dillard and Ferny Ceballos to grow Better Networker?

It’s the go-giver secret.

And guess what?

It worked.

It always works.

It will work for you.  IF you do it consistently, with all your focus, heart and soul totally in it.

In the book, “The Go-Giver,”  by Bob Burg and John David Mann, they teach it.  This is a book that Ann Sieg sent out to her closest friends, partners and employees–I got one in the mail with a little note.

“To Mike.  Looking forward to your input in our Marketing Merge Professional staff book study!” — Ann Sieg, July ’09

It included a letter about how we could choose to partake in a monthly book study that she would help facilitate.  Why spend the time?  It’s again the go-giver secret!

Think of the time investment on her part to put this together… to purchase the books, make sure they’re sent.  To write the letter describing some of her life experiences and to share this idea with us.  To personally hand write a note to each person she sent it to!

Ann knows the secret.

The secret is sprinkled throughout every training tutorial you find in the Renegade Professional back office.

It’s at the heart of what makes our community stand out–and why people are accelerating so quickly in their business development with us… so much so we hardly have time to keep up with them all (though we try to so keep ‘em coming!)

Being a go-giver is at the heart of everything that grows at the speed of light.

Those who are open to this secret can succeed.

Those who are not open to it will struggle.

When I communicate with one of our new students I know immediately if they are open to the secret or not by the way they think.  I can see it in an email.  It’s in their tone and posture.

Some ‘almost’ get it–and these are the people we really work hard to assist.

And that’s the purpose of this letter.

I’m inviting you to become a go-giver within the Renegade Professional community.

There are a number of opportunities to contribute.  You’ve seen plenty of people doing it… and they’re moving forward fast!

Consider joining one or more of these ‘go-giver’ roles:

* Super Guides Program
* Become a Trainer
* Become a Coach
* Become a Content Expert

It may not always be obvious at first what the benefit is to you by becoming a Go-Giver.  It requires a little faith along with the determination.

It requires you to GIVE.  Not just a little.  But a lot.

I highly recommend you pick up the book, Go-Giver, and I’d love to see your story unfold before our very eyes.

I hope to see you become a go-giver here within our community and to help us literally develop out this new industry as partners.

Don’t just be a customer–and don’t just be a student–become a teacher here!

We’ll have more details for you soon about how to become a Super Guide, Trainer, Coach or Content Expert.

In the meantime, you know exactly what to do!

Learn, Teach, Grow, Contribute!

It IS that simple (or that difficult) depending on who you are and your value system.

Choose your value system wisely, it has everything to do with the speed of your success!

Partners in success!

  1. Hi Mike,

Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing the Go-Giver philosophy with others. My name is Fiona Ashe and I’m an Irish film director. I’m honoured that Bob Burg and John David Mann have chosen me to collaborate with them in bringing their bestselling book “The Go-Giver” to the big screen. We are excited about sharing the philosophy of giving to a global film audience. We’ll be sending regular updates on the progress of the movie to fans of its Facebook page. We’d love you to join us there.

  4. Awesome article Mike, You are the true meaning of a go giver and I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve taught me. I can only hope to be able to give half as much as you are and I know it will be rewarded ten fold financially, but I find the best reward is seeing someone I have helped reap the rewards of being a go giver. Thanks

  5. Fantastic article, Mike!

I, too, received one of those special copies of The Go Giver from Ann Sieg. And tomorrow I get to meet her in person for the first time. Who would have thought that was going to happen 18 months ago?

I hitched my wagon to your star in February 2008. I followed while you shined the light to guide me on the path.

By the time I reached the fork in the road, I was ready to make my own decisions and create my own path.

What has inspired me the most about you is that you are utterly, consistently, and completely genuine. I have never heard you veer away from your mission — to help others first. Not even in unguarded private conversations. You are the embodiment of the Go Giver and I am honored to have you as my friend.

  6. Thanks Mike!

As one of the “tortoises” of the RBMP students I just devoured The Go-Giver this past weekend. I thought of you and Ann Sieg so many times during my reading. The book’s message solidified how fortunate I am to be a part of this new wave of opportunity within a mentoring community.

Thanks for sharing your optimism, enthusiasm and expertise. What a gift.

  7. Mike great article, and video. They say “no pain no gain” when it come to physical workout, and that is true when it comes to building any business. Your experience of giving first, and reward will follow, has been an eye opener for many. Thank for setting the example for us to follow.

  8. Yep I am in.It’s clear to me I need to give more.I have over 70 posts on my blog,4 Squidoo lenses,3 Hub pages an SBI website,1500 followers on Twitter,200 Facebook friends,a few on Myspace.I’ve posted Ezine articles and posted on forums, a Blinkweb lead capture page,a video and email boot camp, but still not one sign up, and one person on my list who it seems just wants to sell to me. I feel this neediness for results, which I want to get rid of,and only by giving can I do this.So let me know when this all takes off.

    Thanks

  9. Hi Mike,

I’m going to do something you taught me about reusing content, especially where appropriate. I posted this on the book club blog, but I feel belongs here as well.

I once again find myself wishing that I could find the right words to adequately say, Thank You.
Your introduction of this book as well as providing the forum for a continuing dialog is well…… inspired!

To be inspired is to be in Spirit and this book has taken me there.
The promise of the Go-Giver’ is that if we are willing to give that which we seek, we keep the abundance of the Universe flowing into our lives.
And when we choose actions that bring happiness and success to others, the gift we receive is happiness and success.

In the Ancient Wisdom Traditions this concept is known as Dharma.
Dharma is a Sanskrit word meaning to follow your bliss or passion, while maintaining an attitude of, how may I help, how may I serve.
Given all the “Added Value” we have received, especially in the mentoring program, it would only be the truth to say; you Mike, Ann and the whole Renegade family are living the promise of the Go-Givers, you are truly in your Dharma.

    Your Friend and Student,
    Tom Renfro

  10. Hi Mike,
I knew you were a go-giver from the first tutorial I watched and heard your voice. It is right there in your voice. However, I didn’t know to how much or to what degree you were a giver until you told us in the above awesome article. Loved every nano-second of it. You do have the secret. It can be summed up in this principle of the universe–You reap what you sow. Your time of reaping is here! Enjoy all the harvest that is coming your way.
The library called and the “Go-Giver is in and I am on my way to pick it up right now. Can’t wait to read it!
