I’m really sad that I will have to miss this great get together of like minded people. Having some wings would be a great asset but right now, the winter storm I am facing to drive home is enough to get all birds looking for cover!

Coaching Cognition is going to change my life.
I want to thank Mike Klingler, Barbara Silva, Curt Johnson and Ellie Drake in advance for the benefits that I will experience from this work/from the new relationships with my peers and mentors.

JV at it’s best. Here Mike Klingler found Barbara Silva…or rather, Barbara found Mike.
I remember the first fledgling forays into internet presence. Barbara was authentic, candid and compelling.
The rest is history. Mike did his part in relationship building. He and Barbara discovered her giftedness. Barbara with encouragement and coaching followed her passion.
Now she lives her dream. Coaching Cognition. Interesting name in that to me it implies a relationship that empowers the student/client to “see” their lives in a new way.
Renegade Professional is Barbara’s starting place. Very fitting that the partnership grows from the roots.
If you have any sense that your life and/or business will benefit from some new insight. Coaching Cognition is for you.

Listening to Dr. Ellie Drake really impressed upon me how important Coaching Cognition is for all aspects of my life.
Getting in touch with the “heart” of the matter may be easy for some, but most of us need guidance and there is no guide I would rather be a student of than that of Dr. Ellie and Barbara Silva.

Personally, I have been a fan of Dr. Ellie Drake for some time.
Unfortunately, I am unable to get that above VIDEO to work – but I’ll keep trying.

Ellie teaches us from her own personal experience. She has learned to listen to her inner self. Ellie takes consistent action. She admonishes her listeners to do the same.
When she teaches about becoming a good listener, it comes from her heart. Ellie encourages each student to “lean on your own authentic self”; to sit up straight; keep muscles relaxed; to speak and write from where you are coming from.
Oh, there is so much more in the 9 Tips in Listening that she gave in this webinar. It is certainly a gift to be able to listen to it repeatedly.
Thank you Ellie, Thank you Mike and Didi and the Marketing Merge team.

Listening to Ellie, I was struck by the similarities between her strategies and those, which I learned to employ, whilst becoming a radio interviewer, back in the 1970’s.
I learned from George Yeatman, a dear man, who invested time and considerable energy in teaching me the fundamentals of being a good interviewer.
I listened to him and, with all modesty, I did become better at it. But, having been in denial, for too long, I had turned my back on interviewing people, for a living.
Now, realising that I still have something to offer, I am, thanks to Ellie, once more determined to use my poor talents.
Not just in the search for a pot of gold, but in the deepfelt need to become a valued part of my business community – valued, through my ability to reach out, through the medium of sound and, by doing so, to help others achieve more, from their businesses.
Thanks, Ellie. You have inspired me.

WOW! That’s all I have to say for NOW. WOW!
And thank you, of course, to Ann and Michael, for giving me this wonderful opportunity to meet such a great lady. Dr. Drake is the first person ever who could put into words what made me such a success with what many call “problem students” or children in general. Until now I had no idea of what I now understand to be “visceral listening”. Even though I don’t remember even hearing the word before, I must have just been born with it which would explain why so many students often told me that until meeting me, they had never felt “inspired” to want to learn or what made me so popular whenever I was in sales.
Like Peter Arnold, I had a hard time to get the video to work for days but I found the trick today! It just took a little patience to allow the blue bottom line to upload all the way before I began to listen or else it kept cutting off, which I did by putting it on pause afer clicking “play”. Then it was smooth sailing. Not only did I listen to it twice but filled a whole notebook of just about every word she had to say.
By the way, I really enjoyed Peter Arnold’s website which, out of sheer curiosity, because we had the same problem, I was glad I checked. Duty calls right now but I will go back to it soon. Hoping I will one day have the know-how to acquire one of my own (website that is), I keep on learning all that I can about it and about having an internet business I can be passionate about. With Ann Sieg’s “The Renegade Network Marketer”, which I am still reading, I will surely learn as I believe I saw something to that effect on Page 94.
“NOW”, and at the risk of repeating myself, I will say all that I have to say about this video: “WOW”.Comment by Teri — November 11, 2009 @ 2:18 pm

Adding on to the spirit of what has already been stated, I too, found the call interview both inspiring and challenging: both times.
You say, “both times?” Yes, I just listened one ore time a few short moments ago.
1. Page open.
2. Keyboard ready.
3. And taking notes while “the music was being played” again so-to-speak.Stopping.
Pausing the lesson.
Grabbing the important points.
Trying to sense what I was to learn. All important ways to get to most out what was not only graciously shared for us but also provided for us to take advantage of listening to as much as desired.
In addition, several of my “take-aways” from Mike at the conclusion were thoughts such as the following:
Merely begin your next step.
Merely start focusing on it.
Begin “facing towards it.”Me? I like the “begin facing towards it.” For some reason, I liked that phrase. Possibly because I like the concept of “leaning into” a thought, idea or a person’s advice.
I am grateful to Ellie, Mike and the Renegade Professional team for making this available.
May you and those you love enjoy a wonderful weekend,
Lee

The nuggets in this webinar was outstanding because it is the application of knowledge that is truly powerful. If you are unable to connect in a genuine way with your potential business partners then your business will never grow to the extent that you want to grow. Many people hide behind auto responders and email but the most successful people figure out the best way to connect with their partners. Ellie Drake was tremendous and the knowledge was unsurpassed by anything I have heard in a few months.

The thing I like about Renegade Pro is that is addresses all levels of Internet Marketing. The beginner will get tons of value and the more advanced people will also get tons of value. The key is to stick with it long enough to garner the value. When I started Renegade I came to the program with a great deal of knowledge about the Internet (I am a web designer). I still found that I learned a great deal that I could both use in my business as well as use to promote my business. I found that dedicating a few hours to the training videos each day ( or several on weekends) was what it took to learn what I needed to know. Focusing on one subject until it is mastered is also very helpful. Fight the urge to bounce around and remain focused – you will see awesome results!

Coaching Helped Me
I am so grateful for the coaching program. I found myself is a state of complete overwhelm and frustration. I contacted a coach and she has been helping me find focus and get rid of distractions. I would highly recommend coaching if you feel you would benefit from it. (I think we could all benefit from it) Then, pay it forward. That is my plan. I received the help I needed. Now I’m paying it forward. When the Coaching Cognition program opens, if they will have me, I plan on signing up. I feel like this would be helpful in every area of my life.

Mike, I couldn’t have said this better myself “If you don’t complete your training OF COURSE you can’t make the same business transformations as our students who HAVE completed their training”.
I’ve talked with so many prospective Renegade beginners who first off are suffering from information overload, and secondly don’t know where to begin.
And I always begin by telling my story, start at Squidoo and follow the tutorials click by click step by step it’s the way the program was designed and believe me it works. And by all means develop a plan(you own essential list) and stick to it.

“Inner turmoil and a sense of “lack” (not having what you want fast enough) leads to self doubt and self destruction:”
I am one of those students who allowed distractions, real life issues get in the way of learning. True enough, circumstances prevail that get in the way of progress towards a goal. Turmoil and self-doubt follow.
I am deeply grateful for the ongoing encouragement and determination that brings me back to center. The learning curve is always before me, and every student. Staying the course is well worth the effort.
I am glad, I did not allow distractions to become the master of my journey through Renegade Professional.

Mike,
I have to say that your tutorial on Personalizing and Customizing your Training was the most important tutorial for me. I was so overwhelmed in the beginning that watching this was amazingly helpful.
Everyone can do this if they remain focused. Sometimes getting a coach to help through the tough spots is just what is needed.
The new Coaching Cognition program will add even more to an already outstanding training site.
Distractions will always happen. Feeling overwhelmed might also happen more often than we would like. But..what’s great about Renegade Professional is that it is a ’safe place’ to have these experiences. There is help and support from the programs but also from the members.
Work hard, stay focused and don’t be afraid to get the the help you need.

How many times have I fallen for the “grass is greener” scenario! And it wasn’t until I became a Renegade Professional that I found myself becoming more focused and on track.
Why would I want to look anywhere else when all I need is right here?
Staying focused on my goals has now become much easier.
What sweetens the pot greatly is the opportunity for advancement, such as the Super Guide team and now the Coaching Cognition opportunity and possibly becoming a paid coach.

Please listen carefully to Curt Johnson as well, knowing he’s been a successful coach and businessman for years. Curt was Ann Sieg’s coach not so long ago before she discovered her own voice and brand. He’s also her upline!

Mike,
Doubt is an interesting word and it’s important that you have used your doubt to reflect. Doubt might often be confused with ‘fear’ and they are far different.
As you said, you used your doubt as a trigger to reflect further and what you discovered was a deeper trust in yourself. This is so important as many of us don’t trust ourselves enough.
Your authenticity comes through and its because of this that so many people have come to know, trust and believe in you.
Like attracts like. So when you give us examples of people like Claire and Curt…how could they be anything but authentic?
Coaching Cognition will be an excellent platform for those people who have ‘kept their light under a barrel’. They will shine ever so brightly and help so many others along the way.

Hi Mike,
I love what you said about ‘being authentic’ and ‘loving what you do’. There is definitely a struggle in process of finding your authentic self as well as your own unique brand in business.
However like you have put is so nicely the ultimate success is being able to be your authentic self, love what you do, give value to others as well as receiving value from others.
The coaching cognition program will be a place to experience all of those things and more. I have had the privilege of being coached by one of the coaching cognition coaches Eric Walker. It was a great experience.
I know if people are willing and ready to take their business to the next step working with a coach will help them become empowered personally and in their business building efforts.
I am also interested in becoming a coach with Coaching Cognition and am very excited about the program. Hearing the testimonials from others and their experience of taking the course is extremely encouraging.
Thanks to you and Barbara Silva for providing this wonderful opportunity.
kind regards,
Ness,

Hi Mike,
I really loved this article and related to it on a number of levels. At the moment it seems people are fairly jaded by big launches but I doubt that people will ever get jaded by excellent service and the feeling that they are genuinely cared for.
Perhaps your way is not the way to get quick results but I’m sure they’ll be long lasting.
I built my acupuncture clinic one relationship at a time. I never advertised, never did any sort of marketing, and never even did any follow up… I just CONNECTED with each person as they came in and soon enough I had a busy clinic.
I’m certain if my focus was to implement a formula for building a clinic rather than the relationships being first and foremost my clinic would not have grown the way that it did.
Interestingly, I recently went through a period that was emotionally taxing and that meant that I was not connecting with my patients as I normally would and I noticed the difference in my business. As I started to feel better I immediately started to CONNECT with people and referrals started flooding back in… immediately.
I feel that the kind of business that comes from referrals due to happy clients brings with it good karma that can not be achieved through marketing, from my experience these are the best people to work with.
I love marketing and appreciate it’s power and importance in business but I also believe unless a business is built on the bedrock of CARING for the people that actually make being business possible (customers and clients) than marketing isn’t worth much at all.
Your insights and genuineness are always a breath of fresh air.

I’m deeply touched by what you have written in this post Mike. So much so that I am very close to tears.
I read your ‘Finding the only shortcut…’ post and the Essential List, which I now have printed out and reflect upon daily. In that post your story conveyed so powerfully how The List emerged out of your own struggles and experiences.
When I read your latest email a few moments ago I could hardly believe that you were writing about a process that I have been going through for a while now. I have been in that space of ‘self-doubt’, searching for my ‘voice’, the Brand of Me. It’s a lonely space to be in and having someone else suddenly reach out and say “I’ve been there too” – well, it nearly done me in! The tears whelmed up because I knew you ‘understood’ what it was like to be in that space.
My self-doubt emerged as I was creating my website. Finally, against the advice ‘don’t keep tinkering…move on’ I took down all the pages I’d written & took two-thirds off my homepage. I knew it was the right thing to do. And then, once I’d cleared the decks, my ‘look and feel’ began to emerge and then ‘my voice’. As you say ‘doubt and trust’. I had to trust that I would recognize ‘my voice’ when I finally heard it – that I would know my ‘look and feel’ when I finally saw it.
Being a member of Renegade Breakthrough and Renegade Pro has been such an amazing, joyful experience for me. It is an experience in which I am constantly touched by the honesty and ‘giving’ that is conveyed by everyone involved with Renegade. I recently read DiDi’s post on Better Networker where she shares her experiences after reading The List. Her beauty, both inside and out, shines forth and warms us all.
My deepest thanks to you all for being who you are and sharing that with us all.

It’s a shame that internet marketing beginners fall for systems that seduce by promising “easy, fast and simple”. I was no different.
But a system can only take you so far. There is a point when you need to actually talk to your prospect.
A lot of people are afraid to do this and they hide behind the system. What they don’t really understand is that fear can be overcome just by learning the skill one needs to talk with confidence and posture.
That’s why I’m really looking forward to the Coaching Cognition course, so I can learn the skills I need to be more effective in my interactions with people and especially those that seek help from me.
I really appreciate your honesty and “realness” Mike as this helps me to realize that “yes” I can also do it. Mike did and still does!

Doubt vs. Trust – This is actually a topic I want to develop in our coaching training.
Often, we place negative or positive values on something and leave it at that. At first glance, doubt would be a negative and trust the positive.
But as you pointed out here, doubt can serve it’s purpose. It made you stop, reflect, and get clear on what you were doing before plunging in.
As coaches, we help our clients to examine both the positives and the negatives. If we are experiencing an emotion, like doubt, it’s good to find out exactly why it is there. Doubt, in this case, didn’t mean you were on the wrong track. But it caused you to focus on what it was you really wanted to do and why you wanted to do it. That’s powerful.
I shudder to think of the loss to us all if you had not taken the time to understand this. Some people experience doubt and use it as a reason to quit. Thank goodness, you didn’t.
Trust is a good thing…so long as it has been authentically earned. We’ve all trusted someone or something and found the trust had been misplaced.
You build trust – for me that is your brand – precisely because of what you have done in this article. You don’t just go out and “sell.” You share your process, your thinking and your goals.
Coaching Cognition has grown out of the trust that developed between you and I. You inspire me every day!

Mike,
Gosh, I’ve a true awakening this week, though I don’t know why it has taken me 6 months to “get it”. As a result of your previous post, I’ve been revamping my blog to reflect a place where marketers can get good information, rather than focusing on telling them all about my products and business opportunity. This post was right-on with the timing for me. Thank you so much for your insight, wisdom and honesty!

Thank you Mike!
You clearly speak from within – who you really are. That means more to me than any marketing strategy or tactic out there. I have a tendency to question myself (doubt), and also the intent of others.
Every time I read your emails or hear you speak on videos and tutorials I know that it is you I’m listening to – the real you – the person who clearly likes helping others. For me, that creates trust. So I can feel, now more than ever, the importance of coaching – coaching with heart. Even from the printed word it creates a connection that is truly exciting.
And it is also clear that you attract people who are of the same heart like Barbara Silva and the Marketing Merge Team. Being a member of Renegade Professionals has brought me to a place of knowing I can build a business that fits me.
I’m sure I would seriously benefit from the Coaching Cognition program. Even though I’m still progressing through the action guide, is this program something to consider now?

Mike,
Having read your article I feel that it is your authenticity, thought, and speculation that has made both you and Ann a success. The so called “formulas” are just that: formulas, with no heart or soul. Personally I shut down when I receive them, and rarely read them through. I may not be a “successful” business woman as yet, but it has been through my soul searching that your system resonates with me. I have received numerous emails and marketing program sales pitches but there has to be the authenticity and personal emotion behind the words. Don’t lose the feelings you have, they are there for a reason. Success comes in its time to those who remain true to themselves.Comment by Wendy MacKay — September 30, 2009 @ 10:35 am

development and skills completely transferable to other venues.the music young folk seem to do very well
in the rest of their assessment at school-and they replicate excellence by modelling. Older adults reflect where they are.And that may send them to
the door, never to return-or a dream just between themselves to play from nothing a certain song is a
personal accomplishment which models autonomy and
reaching further. So check us out! And enjoy! -
Mike,
It’s so “you” the way you describe the conflicting formula of doubt and trust.
I really never thought about how they work together to help us make our best decisions. Again, it’s this type of insight that helps us move forward and trust our own instincts and find what works for us, not someone else.I’ll just add, as one of Coaching Cognition’s new coaches, it’s that little bit of helpful doubt that makes me strive to be a better coach and not just rely on what I already know, even though I totally trust my decision and the path I’ve chosen.

Doubt + Trust = Personal Discovery and Greater Levels of Ultimate Success
Well, Mike, you’ve hit the nail on the head again. You are definitely in your power as a mentor and business coach/trainer.
You well know the ebbs and flow of self doubt I have journeyed through. I am finding a centre of strength and absolutely looking forward to working with Barbara and Coaching Cognition to build that out.
Long ago, I learned to trust you. When the systems failed, you didn’t. The kind of authenticity you demonstrate here is a common thread through the years. I think you are spot on listening to your gut in regards to the marketing process that will work best for you.

Julie – developing coaching skills will help with your marketing and customer relationships even if you are not yet ready to actually become a coach at this point.
For me, I knew coaching was what I wanted to do because of my lifelong love of helping people in this particular way. Follow both your heart and your “gut.” They will tell you what is the best timing for you!

Barbara,
Thanks, that answers my question. Helping and interacting with people is an important and exciting part of the business I want to create. I know listening is important, but I also know it’s much more than that and I don’t have much experience from a business standpoint.
You are right. For the last two years I have been learning to listen more closely to my heart and gut – that inner knowing – and it has served me well. Things just seem to fall into place and I am now learning skills I never thought I would be learning. When I saw your webinars on coaching I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It feels both exciting and a little scary. It is obvious to me that it is of great value.
Thank you

Several Responses in Reading this…
“- Loving what you do”
- While the good money flows inward
- And the value you offer flows out”Yes, and I think I would add: “loving what you do and why
you do it.” And you’ve reflected here and elsewhere you
desire to help others as a major motivating factor. In other words, a true heart-felt “why” can motivate us in
so many areas. Like, for example, from your “why” for
sharing the emails and moving forward with Coaching
Cognition.“I’d allow the ‘marketing’ to unfold on its own
spontaneously.”I took that as flowing from your “why” and, frankly, loved
reading it.“Instead, I focus on CONNECTING with people who really need
what we offer but just don’t know it yet, and then on
effectively COMMUNICATING what we offer so they totally
‘get’ it.”Yes, in fact I appreciated listening to Dean Caporella
yesterday relative to having the perspective of the other
person in mind while writing articles. Again, viewing things
from the needs, wants and desires of the other person –
along with my heart’s desire to truly meet those needs –
and then communicating my heart whether in a written format
like an article or a series of emails. Neat blend! On another point…
You mentioned Claire’s “authenticity” in her talk. Yes,
actually I took that in last evening and thought the same
thing. Simple, straight forward communication from one
person to another sharing how Barbara has helped her.Now there’s a “talking point” for anyone:
1. Simple.
2. Straight forward.
3. Sincere.(I feel an article coming on, lol!)
In fact, I went from listening there to Claire to one of her
training videos in Renegade Pro.And, of course, Barbara has already been a real
encouragement and help to me as I travel along this
“attraction marketing path.” A definite “Go-Giver.”Thanks for sharing these, Mike. I’ve already made a file
for this one and “the essential list” one in recent days. I
plan to review them again.I hope you all are able to assist many in reaching their dreams,
Lee

I was thinking the same thing, Kevin.
Always relating back to mindset is such a powerful and attractive form of marketing, ESPECIALLY when you can tell they are really living what they are talking about. No phony-baloney there. That’s just genuine “good stuff.” The kind of people you want to know and be influenced by, for sure.
Great video.

I watched this one last month, but needed a little inspiration … so I watched it again.
It’s easier to keep pushing and working if you know there’s a downhill, when things get easier.
Watching Mike and Eric reminded me of being out on the trail with my brother (who spends a lot more time on trail work than I do). He always wants to talk … I’m huffing and puffing – I need my air just for keeping up!

How to Speed Things Up…
How did we do it? How did we create a multi-million dollar company out of thin air in less than 2 years?
Does it have more to do with being a “Go-Getter” or a “Go-Giver”?
Which is more powerful?
Which makes a business grow at the speed of light?
Two years ago I was learning how to create my first blog.
Now I have a network of them getting tens of thousands of visitors each month, producing thousands of leads to date, and they still roll in. I don’t do all the work myself… In fact, I post less than 1% of the content to those blogs.
How did that happen?
I’ll share the real secret to ‘fast’ success with you here.
One and a half years ago I was learning how to post my first Squidoo lens, Ezine Article and use my first social bookmarking site. Now I can take credit for co-founding the #1 training resource for beginners getting started in social marketing.
How did THAT happen?
Answer:
I gave A LOT to others FIRST, and for quite a while, with little or no compensation upfront. I didn’t jump around… I focused on who I gave to and continued giving.
A multi-million dollar company was ‘magically’ manifested, in LESS than 2 years from the day I ‘got a vague idea’ and started on it.
Now it’s your turn…
You might not want a multi-million dollar company–but it doesn’t matter if we’re talking about an extra $30,000 a year, $100,000, or millions–there’s a way to do it fast–real fast (and by the way, 2 years IS fast when we’re talking about changing your life to be what you want it).
If you’re realistic, you can change things quick. But to ensure it, you have to ‘get’ what it means to be a go-giver.
In order for this to work, it has to become as crystal clear as a glass of water. Once that happens, you can’t help but do it right.
So, exactly what DID I do (that you can do) to speed up the success process?
Go-Getter vs. Go-Giver…
Yes, I worked hard.
I ‘went after it’ with a determination and focus that conjures up the image of a go-getter. But it goes so much beyond that.
Teaching…. Collaborating… Participating Without Direct or Immediate Payment
It was in the “learning something” that it all started.
I became a constant student… so much it literally hurt sometimes initially.
Stuffing a lot into your brain at turbo speeds is intense. Overwhelm is a way of life during this phase of it. This is the go-getter part, but it was always driven by an inspiration to then give it… to pass it on. To contribute it to other people I wanted to partner with or service.
Often in the beginning I gave my knowledge only so I could learn.
Often I gave tremendous investment, long-term, just to ‘see’ what might happen (again, to learn).
Then, it was in the “teaching what I learned” where I found the secret to stratospheric success.
It was in the ‘faith oriented’ collaborations (working with others without an immediate or clear financial gain) that I found this secret.
It was in my PARTICIPATION that I found this secret. Here, I’m not talking about just posting content on a social site, commenting, or doing stuff you should be doing–that’s a small piece of participation.
I’m speaking about highly evolved levels of contributing to the work of others… long-term, without losing focus, so I could develop deep relationships and partnerships.
How many times did I spend hours on the phone assisting people when I started 2 years ago? How many hours invested only to give, learn and grow.
How many times did I spend learning something that was not easy for me to learn, only to share it on a Webinar (often for free).
We built Renegade University to help Ann Sieg sell more Renegade e-books (giving the affiliate commission to others), without asking for compensation or recognition.
Why?
THAT’S the go-giver secret.
Why did I email my entire list and send hundreds of people to Better Networker to assist Mike Dillard and Ferny Ceballos to grow Better Networker?
It’s the go-giver secret.
And guess what?
It worked.
It always works.
It will work for you. IF you do it consistently, with all your focus, heart and soul totally in it.
In the book, “The Go-Giver,” by Bob Burg and John David Mann, they teach it. This is a book that Ann Sieg sent out to her closest friends, partners and employees–I got one in the mail with a little note.
“To Mike. Looking forward to your input in our Marketing Merge Professional staff book study!” — Ann Sieg, July ’09
It included a letter about how we could choose to partake in a monthly book study that she would help facilitate. Why spend the time? It’s again the go-giver secret!
Think of the time investment on her part to put this together… to purchase the books, make sure they’re sent. To write the letter describing some of her life experiences and to share this idea with us. To personally hand write a note to each person she sent it to!
Ann knows the secret.
The secret is sprinkled throughout every training tutorial you find in the Renegade Professional back office.
It’s at the heart of what makes our community stand out–and why people are accelerating so quickly in their business development with us… so much so we hardly have time to keep up with them all (though we try to so keep ‘em coming!)
Being a go-giver is at the heart of everything that grows at the speed of light.
Those who are open to this secret can succeed.
Those who are not open to it will struggle.
When I communicate with one of our new students I know immediately if they are open to the secret or not by the way they think. I can see it in an email. It’s in their tone and posture.
Some ‘almost’ get it–and these are the people we really work hard to assist.
And that’s the purpose of this letter.
I’m inviting you to become a go-giver within the Renegade Professional community.
There are a number of opportunities to contribute. You’ve seen plenty of people doing it… and they’re moving forward fast!
Consider joining one or more of these ‘go-giver’ roles:
* Super Guides Program
* Become a Trainer
* Become a Coach
* Become a Content Expert
It may not always be obvious at first what the benefit is to you by becoming a Go-Giver. It requires a little faith along with the determination.
It requires you to GIVE. Not just a little. But a lot.
I highly recommend you pick up the book, Go-Giver, and I’d love to see your story unfold before our very eyes.
I hope to see you become a go-giver here within our community and to help us literally develop out this new industry as partners.
Don’t just be a customer–and don’t just be a student–become a teacher here!
We’ll have more details for you soon about how to become a Super Guide, Trainer, Coach or Content Expert.
In the meantime, you know exactly what to do!
Learn, Teach, Grow, Contribute!
It IS that simple (or that difficult) depending on who you are and your value system.
Choose your value system wisely, it has everything to do with the speed of your success!
Partners in success!

Awesome article Mike, You are the true meaning of a go giver and I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve taught me. I can only hope to be able to give half as much as you are and I know it will be rewarded ten fold financially, but I find the best reward is seeing someone I have helped reap the rewards of being a go giver. Thanks

Fantastic article, Mike!
I, too, received one of those special copies of The Go Giver from Ann Sieg. And tomorrow I get to meet her in person for the first time. Who would have thought that was going to happen 18 months ago?
I hitched my wagon to your star in February 2008. I followed while you shined the light to guide me on the path.
By the time I reached the fork in the road, I was ready to make my own decisions and create my own path.
What has inspired me the most about you is that you are utterly, consistently, and completely genuine. I have never heard you veer away from your mission — to help others first. Not even in unguarded private conversations. You are the embodiment of the Go Giver and I am honored to have you as my friend.

Hi Mike,
I’m going to do something you taught me about reusing content, especially where appropriate. I posted this on the book club blog, but I feel belongs here as well.
I once again find myself wishing that I could find the right words to adequately say, Thank You.
Your introduction of this book as well as providing the forum for a continuing dialog is well…… inspired! To be inspired is to be in Spirit and this book has taken me there.
The promise of the Go-Giver’ is that if we are willing to give that which we seek, we keep the abundance of the Universe flowing into our lives.
And when we choose actions that bring happiness and success to others, the gift we receive is happiness and success. In the Ancient Wisdom Traditions this concept is known as Dharma.
Dharma is a Sanskrit word meaning to follow your bliss or passion, while maintaining an attitude of, how may I help, how may I serve.
Given all the “Added Value” we have received, especially in the mentoring program, it would only be the truth to say; you Mike, Ann and the whole Renegade family are living the promise of the Go-Givers, you are truly in your Dharma.Your Friend and Student,

However, I didn’t know to how much or to what degree you were a giver until you told us in the above awesome article. Loved every nano-second of it. You do have the secret. It can be summed up in this principle of the universe–You reap what you sow. Your time of reaping is here! Enjoy all the harvest that is coming your way.

HI Mike! I shared this comment in your Fan Page Discussion but wanted to share it here too…
Funny, I teach about the “Big 4″ but the Fan Page is something that I have been contemplating with for months… Here’s my post:
“Hi Mike! This is sooo cool! THANK YOU for taking the initiative and leading the way to educate the community re the benefits of a Fan Page. I for one have contemplated the idea of a fan page for a few months now but here are the 2 biggest reasons I haven’t moved forward with creating one:
1) I can’t get over the idea of me inviting people to “Become My Fan”… why can’t it just be “Let’s Learn From Each Other” or something?
I know it’s a rather shallow excuse but I guess my #2 reason is is really what has been stopping me and that is,
2) I already have to consciously limit my time for my social media mktg efforts, especially now that I am in product and course creation mode. I am already having a bit of a challenge making time to build and foster my relationships on my personal FB profile that to add another page – a Fan Page- where I really have to be consistently “present” and maintain makes me a bit nervous that one of them might suffer from lesser TLC…
One of my mentors ( soon to launch a book am co-authoring with her) Social Media Expert Mari Smith, is a huge advocate of Fan Pages and that’s what prompted me to seriously consider it.
I know sooner or later, I have to do it since I have so much I would like to teach and share as far as how to use technology and Relationship or Relational Marketing to grow ones business!
I am all eyes – and ears – to what you’re doing! I continue to learn immensely from you and I absolutely trust your direction and pioneering spirit!
In Gratitude,
Emma

This is so right for me at this time. I’ve had doubts as to how social networking really added to the overall value one brings to the table in order to get leads. I have lots to learn in this area and I’m ready for the mind shift.
