<p>Over the last several months I&#8217;ve found some new ways to leverage what I like to call &#8220;The Power 5&#8243; social media locations to accomplish even more with less time.  It&#8217;s exciting stuff.</p>
<p>To show and tell, in the style of teaching I love to do, I&#8217;ll be doing what I teach at my business Fan Page at Facebook, which is one of these Power 5 locations (this is different from the personal Face book page where you probably follow me at now).</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll be showing you how to use the Facebook business pages to duplicate what I&#8217;ve learned with less time.</p>

<div>In fact, doubt is destructive without TRUST.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>And yet, &#8220;doubting&#8221; will <em>serve you</em> as long as you&#8217;ve included <strong>trust</strong> in the mix.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>
<div>So&#8230;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div><strong>Doubt + Trust = Personal Discovery and Greater Levels of Ultimate Success</strong></div>
</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>This is when your power gets turned on.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div><em>Here I&#8217;m precisely describing how you end up:</em></div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>- Loving what you do</div>
<div>- While the good money flows inward</div>
<div>- And the value you offer flows out</p>
<p> It&#8217;s the ULTIMATE success story.&nbsp;</p></div>

<div>It&#8217;s the only success story.<em>&nbsp;</em></div>

<div><em>I&#8217;d like you to consider something:</em></div>

<div>Can any of this be accomplished by just following a formula?&nbsp;</div>

<div>Is there such thing as a marketing formula, or a proven system?</p>
<div><strong>Here&#8217;s my take:</strong><em><br /> </em></div>

<div>Yes, there&#8217;s a time and place for formulas and systems, but they are way overrated.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Because they don&#8217;t have a soul.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Without soul you got nothin&#8217;.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Are you focused on formulas and a system, or are you focused on acquiring EACH of the soulful skills needed to succeed (click if you missed <a href="http://www.renegadeprofessionalnews.com/ive-gotta-make-this-work-finding-the-only-shortcut-taking-it.html">the &#8216;essential list&#8217;</a>)?</div>

<div>Back to how I discovered my brand (to assist you in your journey of finding YOURS)&#8230; </p>
<div><em>&#8220;Doubt + Trust = Personal Discovery and Greater Levels of Ultimate Success&#8221;</em></div>

<div><strong>&#8211;A Recent Bout With Doubt&#8211;</strong></div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>I did a leap recently in my own journey while thinking about how to introduce <a href="http://www.renegadeprofessionalnews.com/coachingcognition.html">Coaching Cognition</a>. &nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>My gut told me to avoid the time trap of doing a &#8216;big launch.&#8217;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>That would be a huge distraction for our team.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>And frankly, it&#8217;s not a passion of mine to create a thorough launch sequence (though that has its place).&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>My passion, at least for now, is building out the infrastructure for our growing community of entrepreneurs&#8211;<em>landmark projects like Coaching Cognition.</em></div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>As I thought about &#8216;launch&#8217;, I leaned toward keeping it simple&#8211;so simple it wouldn&#8217;t even be noticed as a launch at all.&nbsp; It would be more like an introduction.&nbsp; I&#8217;d allow the &#8216;marketing&#8217; to unfold on its own spontaneously.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Of course we&#8217;d educate on why &#8220;coaching skills&#8221; are vital to one&#8217;s success.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>For example, Barbara Silva, our coach of coaches, <a href="http://www.marketingmerge.com/backoffice/videos/CoachingCognition/presentation.asp">led two webinars</a> this summer discussing the power of coaching skills; what it is and what its not; and how many new students will find their own way into business success for the first time as a paid coach with us.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>In my last email I talked about the &#8216;essential list&#8217; everyone in business should be tackling head on &#8212; that its the only shortcut that really exists.&nbsp; That email highlights the value of coaching.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>But emails like that weren&#8217;t planned. They were spontaneous.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>The email I&#8217;m writing now wasn&#8217;t planned.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>And yet, in a sense, this is all part of the launch, or at least the introduction, of Coaching Cognition.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div><strong><em>It kind of just goes like this&#8230;</em></strong></div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Because Coaching Cognition is our main focus right now&#8230; its naturally what occupies my mind&#8230; so it&#8217;s naturally mentioned and referenced when I share teaching points (like in the last email) and connect with you in emails like today.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>&#8211;Trusting Your Way&#8211;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>I trusted that if we share some main points, the right people who are ready would join us without the need for fanfare, and once again a large group would make a transformational advancement in their businesses together.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div><em>But until very recently, I also had doubt in myself on this very thing I trusted&#8230; </em></div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div><strong>&#8220;Maybe we do need a full blown launch plan for Coaching Cognition?&#8221; &nbsp; </strong></div>
<div><strong>&nbsp;</strong></div>
<div>&#8211;Doubting&#8211;<em> </em></div>
<div><em>&nbsp;</em></div>
<div>We&#8217;ve done very well with our business.&nbsp; And yet, we&#8217;ve never really focused a lot on the marketing.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Could we do even better if we did?&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Are there people we haven&#8217;t reached, who we could have helped, if we marketed more heavily?</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>I&#8217;ve often reflected about my &#8216;way&#8217; of marketing, thinking it was my weakest point.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Most marketers teach to use &#8216;launch formulas&#8217; or a full blown &#8216;launch sequence&#8217; to REALLY get people&#8217;s attention.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>These are calculated.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div><em>A launch formula or sequence is a highly orchestrated sequence of well crafted emails, and/or reports and/or other planned steps to prepare your audience to buy something from you. </em></p>
<div>When implemented correctly they&#8217;re extremely effective (at generating up front sales).</div>
</div>
<div>But I didn&#8217;t want to do that.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>It&#8217;s odd for most online marketers when they hear things like this from me but, &#8220;I don&#8217;t think about selling all that much.&#8221;&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Instead, I focus on CONNECTING with people who really need what we offer but just don&#8217;t know it yet, and then on effectively COMMUNICATING what we offer so they totally &#8216;get&#8217; it.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Before they even buy they&#8217;re already light years ahead of where they were.&nbsp; I shift their context by &#8216;keeping it real&#8217;.&nbsp; Rarely do I feel an urge for fanfare.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Some may say I&#8217;m still selling&#8211;and yes, that&#8217;s happening.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div><strong>But the difference is this:</strong></div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>I didn&#8217;t produce these sales by focusing on a formula.&nbsp; A system has never really been THE SOLUTION, no matter how hard I&#8217;ve tried to make that fly over the years.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Instead, as I discussed recently in the only real short cut that exists, I&#8217;ve focused on developing the skills needed (<a href="http://www.renegadeprofessionalnews.com/EntrepreneurNews/mikeklingler">the essential list most avoid</a>) that I believe everyone must hit head on if they want to end the struggle and move onto their own brand of ultimate success.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Once and for all.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div><strong>But this is all stuff I figured out recently.&nbsp; </strong></div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Actually, I knew some of it all along and I trusted it.&nbsp; But I also doubted myself throughout the process over the years&#8230; even up til now until a new level of clarity has hit.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>It&#8217;s now reached me at a higher level of clarity than ever&#8230; and thus my brand solidifies, business becomes even easier yet, and the sensation of Ultimate Success is heightened once more.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>The doubt along the way was healthy <em>because</em> it caused me to reflect.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>But it served me ONLY because I trusted myself at the same time&#8230; and found my own way to steer another direction (away form formulas, systems and promises) and toward &#8220;the essential list&#8221; and authenticity.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>I notice that every successful person I&#8217;ve met, regardless of what they &#8216;think&#8217; have done the same thing.&nbsp; They&#8217;d be successful regardless of the system or formula they use, because they&#8217;ll always choose the right one for THEM.&nbsp; And they&#8217;ll do more than that.&nbsp; They&#8217;ve developed themselves through the essential list&#8230; either directly and quickly or by default through painstaking trial and error.&nbsp; It has to happen one way or another.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>
<div><strong>&#8220;If Only I Knew Then What I Know Now&#8230;&#8221;</strong></div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>I&#8217;ve been through the &#8220;ringer&#8221; in business&#8211;and maybe that&#8217;s why I continue to work&nbsp; hard to get the&nbsp; message across that Learning Coaching Skills IS the Fastest Shortcut to Success.</div>

<p>Little did I know that the pot of gold was in my own backyard.</p>
<p>What a stubborn one I can be.</p>

<p>But it has also cost me dearly, with a mentality that seemed to say&#8211;</p>
<p>&#8220;No, not me&#8230; I don&#8217;t have to work on my listening and communication skills, or learn how to lead.  I&#8217;ll find a much easier way to succeed than THAT.&#8221;</p>
<p>If only I knew how hard that would be, trying to find the EASY way.</p>
<p>Because&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>Looking for the &#8220;Easy Way&#8221; is the Hardest Way of All.</strong></p>
<p>And, you could say&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>What Most People Think to be the &#8220;Hard Way&#8221; is Actually the &#8220;Easiest&#8221;.</strong></p>
<p>I read personal development books.</p>
<p>I went to leadership trainings.</p>
<p>But I never made it my #1 thing&#8211;not <em>back then</em>.  I just thought I did at the time.</p>
<p>There I was at 30 years old with my six-month old daughter in my lap.</p>
<p>Chasing the dream from home.</p>
<p>Barely making enough to make ends meet.</p>
<p>I&#8217;d made more (much more) from home before that.  But then it had shriveled.</p>
<p>I&#8217;d worked hard before&#8230; real hard.</p>
<p>And then after burning out&#8211;after working like a mad-man from age 22 to 27 (chasing all the bogus shortcuts most people still chase), I &#8220;checked out&#8221; for about two years as soon as the income was high enough.</p>
<p>&#8211;Burn Out&#8211;</p>
<p>I played catch-up on life.</p>
<p>The color returned to my face.</p>
<p>I smiled more without trying to.</p>
<p>I started a family.</p>
<p>I caught up on what I had been missing while<em> &#8216;building the dream.&#8217;</em></p>
<p>But then, after watching my income slide back down I found myself in familiar territory&#8230;</p>
<p>&#8220;I gotta make this thing work!&#8221;</p>
<p>So I was working feverishly again&#8230; and had been for about a year since returning from world travels, reflection, and a bout with getting healthy and fit (I had needed to do that after the 5 year focused business effort).</p>
<p>I was really stressed out&#8211;working, working&#8230;</p>
<p><em>Trying&#8230;</em></p>
<p>Sitting with my six month old daughter beside me, trying to find the &#8217;shortcut&#8217; again.  Trying to live up to my &#8216;big words&#8217; to family and friends, most of whom had forgotten I was a winner.</p>
<p>Trying to justify my commitment to succeed.</p>
<p><strong>The Million Dollar Chapter Comes&#8230;</strong></p>
<p>But within a year from that challenging time, I had figured a piece of it out (the marketing part) and I started attracting business in a BIG way&#8230; though I still hadn&#8217;t learned how to keep it. I had to go through a very labor intensive learning process because I was still looking for shortcuts in all the wrong places.</p>
<p>By age 31, I had attracted over a million dollars to my new company within the first month of launch and had people joining my networking business before I even had time to make the first follow-up phone call.  That was 6 years ago.</p>
<p>It was nice, though there was still plenty of stumbling (as I was still learning what I&#8217;ll share with you today).</p>
<p>It was actually quite rough&#8230; but it WAS a great experience because it forced me to finally&#8211;eventually&#8211; realize and take the only REAL shortcut that exists&#8230; the very thing I was avoiding the entire time because I thought it would be harder, when it was actually much, much easier.</p>
<p>If only I was getting emails like this.</p>
<p>Fast forward 6 years, I now head up a growing multi-million dollar enterprise.  Solid, stable, growing incredibly fast.  Enjoyable.  In alignment with my values and intentions.</p>
<p>From struggle to now business bliss, I have learned and lived the only REAL short-cut there is, and how to get people to not just stand in line to join my business&#8230; and not just stay&#8230; but to duplicate in ways that extend far beyond what I  imagined possible.</p>
<p><strong>Finding the REAL Short-Cut&#8230; And Taking It.</strong></p>
<p>I have always looked for the shortcuts, which would have been great, if only I was looking in the right place.</p>
<p>In my earlier years in business, I was constantly trying to use some new system to generate leads for me.  Or to &#8216;qualify&#8217; them for me.  I even worked hard to create such systems.</p>
<p>Its not that there wasn&#8217;t value in what I was doing, and in qualifying prospects and using systems to help&#8211;that IS a small part of the equation.  But this aspect of it is SECONDARY to what is most critical for one&#8217;s success.<br />
<strong><br />
Here&#8217;s the &#8220;Essential List&#8221; most avoid making their #1 priority in business:</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Focus</span> on Developing&#8230;</p>
<p>* A Keen insight<br />
* An ability to influence others<br />
* An ability to choose the right opportunities for you<br />
* An ability to create and communicate value<br />
* An ability to attract people to you through networking and marketing<br />
* An ability to inspire others by truly connecting with them, by listening<br />
* An ability to cultivate partnerships</p>
<p>You CAN develop these things rather quickly, but only if you make that your main aim.</p>
<p>The list is so alien when you&#8217;re not ready.</p>
<p>Its like <em>hocus pocus</em>.</p>
<p>It might even be scary.</p>
<p>It makes success seem really far away.  But that&#8217;s only if you&#8217;re not ready to take responsibility for it.</p>
<p>The truth is that when you look at this essential list square in the face, that&#8217;s when success gets close.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s when you&#8217;re getting warmer.</p>
<p>Then, if you don&#8217;t take your eyes off this list&#8230; that&#8217;s when you get hot.</p>
<p><em>Attractive Marketer Hot.</em></p>
<p>Doing so puts your butt on the shortcut&#8230; The only REAL shortcut you&#8217;ll ever find.</p>
<p>I Wasn&#8217;t Ready&#8230;</p>
<p>I wasn&#8217;t ready to look until I had worked so hard for so long trying to bypass &#8216;the list&#8217; of essentials, that I finally just stumbled into it here and there, over time&#8230; over a long period of painstaking time because I didn&#8217;t know it was IT.</p>
<p>I thought it was just &#8220;part&#8221; of it.</p>
<p>Somehow I had exhausted everything else and I just decided to focus only on that list for a while&#8230; that was about 3 years ago.</p>
<p>I buckled down on ONLY it.</p>
<p>I connected with the right coaching, training and people and developed my skills (the essential list) as QUICKLY AS I POSSIBLE COULD.</p>
<p>I did it because I had to.  I was exhausted.  It was that or admit failure.  And that&#8217;s not me.</p>
<p>This is where my stubbornness helped.</p>
<p>And maybe its why I relate so well with the majority out there who struggle&#8230; because I was on that path with such intense determination for so long, avoiding the essential list just like most do.</p>
<p><strong>My Point In All This?</strong></p>
<p>My message to you is that it doesn&#8217;t have to take you as long to find IT as it took me.</p>
<p>It took me a long time because I was stubborn in believing the B.S. because I wanted to believe it, just like many people reading this want to believe that a system is the answer.. and not you.  You don&#8217;t want to follow through on this advice because you&#8217;re like I was&#8230; you&#8217;re where I was.</p>
<p>But some of you will move on it.  And that&#8217;s who I&#8217;m talking to here.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t get me wrong&#8230;</p>
<p>The vehicles you use (the opportunities, systems, etc) ARE important obviously&#8230; but they are motionless without the list of essentials above.</p>
<p>Like pushing a car uphill versus stepping on the gas and zipping down it.  That&#8217;s what I&#8217;m taking about.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m talking about finally being able to navigate yourself from where you are to where you want to be with absolute control, safety, comfort and EASE.  Every time with ANY system.</p>
<p>And&#8230;</p>
<p>I&#8217;m talking about accomplishing everything you want FASTER by making it your #1 intention to focus on the essential list.</p>
<p>Are you ready for that?</p>

<p>If you’re realistic, you can change things quick.  But to ensure it, you have to ‘get’ what it means to be a go-giver.</p>
<p>In order for this to work, it has to become as crystal clear as a glass of water.  Once that happens, you can’t help but do it right.</p>
<p>So, exactly what DID I do (that you can do) to speed up the success process?</p>
<p><strong>Go-Getter vs. Go-Giver&#8230; </strong></p>
<p>Yes, I worked hard.</p>
<p>I ‘went after it’ with a determination and focus that conjures up the image of a go-getter.  But it goes so much beyond that.<br />
<strong><br />
Teaching&#8230;. Collaborating&#8230; Participating Without Direct or Immediate Payment </strong></p>
<p>It was in the “learning something”  that it all started.</p>
<p>I became a constant student&#8230; so much it literally hurt sometimes initially.</p>
<p>Stuffing a lot into your brain at turbo speeds is intense.  Overwhelm is a way of life during this phase of it.  This is the go-getter part, but it was always driven by an inspiration to then give it&#8230; to pass it on.  To contribute it to other people I wanted to partner with or service.</p>
<p>Often in the beginning I gave my knowledge only so I could learn.</p>
<p>Often I gave tremendous investment, long-term, just to ‘see’ what might happen (again, to learn).</p>
<p>Then, it was in the “teaching what I learned” where I found the secret to stratospheric success.</p>
<p>It was in the ‘faith oriented’  collaborations (working with others without an immediate or clear financial gain) that I found this secret.</p>
<p>It was in my PARTICIPATION that I found this secret.  Here, I’m not talking about just posting content on a social site, commenting, or doing stuff you should be doing&#8211;that’s a small piece of participation.</p>
<p>I’m speaking about highly evolved levels of contributing to the work of others&#8230; long-term, without losing focus, so I could develop deep relationships and partnerships.</p>
<p>How many times did I spend hours on the phone assisting people when I started 2 years ago?  How many hours invested only to give, learn and grow.</p>
<p>How many times did I spend learning something that was not easy for me to learn, only to share it on a Webinar (often for free).</p>
<p>We built Renegade University to help Ann Sieg sell more Renegade e-books (giving the affiliate commission to others), without asking for compensation or recognition.</p>
<p>Why?</p>
<p>THAT’S the go-giver secret.</p>
<p>Why did I email my entire list and send hundreds of people to Better Networker to assist Mike Dillard and Ferny Ceballos to grow Better Networker?</p>
<p>It’s the go-giver secret.</p>
<p>And guess what?</p>
<p>It worked.</p>
<p>It always works.</p>
<p>It will work for you.  IF you do it consistently, with all your focus, heart and soul totally in it.</p>
<p>In the book, “The Go-Giver,”  by Bob Burg and John David Mann, they teach it.  This is a book that Ann Sieg sent out to her closest friends, partners and employees&#8211;I got one in the mail with a little note.</p>

<p>It included a letter about how we could choose to partake in a monthly book study that she would help facilitate.  Why spend the time?  It’s again the go-giver secret!</p>
<p>Think of the time investment on her part to put this together&#8230; to purchase the books, make sure they’re sent.  To write the letter describing some of her life experiences and to share this idea with us.  To personally hand write a note to each person she sent it to!</p>
<p>Ann knows the secret.</p>
<p>The secret is sprinkled throughout every training tutorial you find in the Renegade Professional back office.</p>
<p>It’s at the heart of what makes our community stand out&#8211;and why people are accelerating so quickly in their business development with us&#8230; so much so we hardly have time to keep up with them all (though we try to so keep ‘em coming!)</p>
<p>Being a go-giver is at the heart of everything that grows at the speed of light.</p>
<p>Those who are open to this secret can succeed.</p>
<p>Those who are not open to it will struggle.</p>
<p>When I communicate with one of our new students I know immediately if they are open to the secret or not by the way they think.  I can see it in an email.  It’s in their tone and posture.</p>
<p>Some ‘almost’ get it&#8211;and these are the people we really work hard to assist.</p>
<p>And that’s the purpose of this letter.</p>
