Didi Alcheva, Ann Sieg

Bringing You the Value of Our Live Event

Didi Alcheva, Ann SiegThere is a statistic from June ‘09 issue of Parade Magazine that states by 2019 over 40% of the work force is going to be independent contractors.

This means that 40% of the population will be their own business identity.

This is a major paradigm shift for how the majority of people earn their wages.

Take a moment to reflect on this…

We all can see the world rapidly changing. But sometimes the hardest change to be made is the change we need to make inside ourselves.

Predominantly, values have been focused on security and benefits. Robert Kioysaki calls this the ‘E’ Quadrant.

If you’re going to be among the 40% who – whether by choice or necessity – are their own business identity, your values will shift to what Kioysaki calls the ‘B’ Quadrant.

How are you getting to the ‘B’ Quadrant?

He says it’s not money that will make you rich, its business skills.

It’s this shift of focus to building business, investing your time into the development of yourself and others and the understanding that the number one asset a person can attain is a business.

Doing so will allow your money to work hard for you, not the other way around.

No one understands this more, or can explain it better than Ann Sieg.

Ann Sieg at Renegade Pro Live EventShe first learned of these values nearly ten years ago during her own quest to bring her husband home from long work days.

In her journey, she wound up teaching these lessons to her son, and they later formed a million dollar business model together.

Ann has been facilitating, accelerating and enabling people to create their own home economies so that they are more in control with their lives and futures.

As part of the aftermath of the Renegade Professional Live Event, Didi Alcheva caught up with Ann to briefly discuss these changes that are underway.

Go now to watch this three minute video where Ann explains the underpinnings of this Entrepreneurial Movement, and how you can begin to make that all-important shift from ‘E’ Quadrant to ‘B’ Quadrant.

This is free, pure value-based content, and worth every penny!

Watch the video below. After watching, be sure to leave a comment with your thoughts and join the conversation.

  1. Ann and Didi,
Timely information for so many people today, whether they are still in a traditional job, are actively working to get to the ‘B’ quadrant, or already a full time business owner.

Ann – you’re ideally suited to ‘lead the charge’ as you say. I believe you are right, the movement to personal empowerment through business ownership is gaining momentum … and it’s huge – more people are embracing it every day.

It was great to meet you two at the Live Event!

  5. Something that impacted me at the Live Event with Mike Klingler, Ann Sieg and the Marketing Merge time is this:

Each participant came with a common denominator in our connection with Renegade Professional/ Marketing Merge and programs.

Many attendees also have their own primary businesses.

The entire weekend was about enabling each business owner to be even more successful in their respective businesses. Beyond that, respectful collaboration was encouraged for individuals to partner to enhance each other’s businesses.

There is no better place to learn more about building your dream, business and services than Marketing Merge and The Renegade System.

Like Ann says, I’m encouraged to put my Marketers’ hat on with determination and professionalism. Marketing Merge empowers me to forge forward to be a business owner.

    Thanks to all of you.

Focus on Bringing You the Value from Our Live Event

Mike KlinglerHere’s a sports analogy that will really put things in perspective for you…

I (Eric Walker) appointed Mike Klingler as the field general to quarterback my business (even if he didn’t know it at the time) in June of 2008 when I became a Renegade Professional.

From my background in coaching youth sports and elementary teaching, I quickly realized Mike had a one-of-a-kind unique way of making everybody around him better.

And here’s where the sports analogy comes into play, Mike is like a great point guard in basketball, or the type of quarterback in football who will be the field general that leads your team to the BIG score.

How?

Because of his uncanny ability to successfully read the entire field to make an important call. He identifies it as having a keen insight.  Mike is the guy who will get you the ball at the right time in the right place so that you can do something with it.

In a game of inches, it’s this advantage that can make up for the extra foot needed for the big touchdown in your business.

With so many things happening all at once under the umbrella of, not only our nation’s economy, but the entire world economy, it can be hard to see the entire field.

With all this uncertainty, there has arisen a tremendous need to find a new way to earn income to support your family and lifestyle.

Security is no longer coming from getting a job from someone else; it has to come from YOU.

To do this, people are forced to learn how to create value so that they can give something in exchange for something in return. Because of the pre-conditioned “norms” that brought us to this crucial point in our economy, creating value from your own interests and strengths no longer is something that comes naturally.

Hence, we’re at the cusp of what is being called “The Entrepreneurial Movement.”

Being the field general that he is, Mike Klingler has seen this shift on the horizon for awhile.

He recorded a succinct, to the point, four minute video that explains this Entrepreneurial Movement, and how you can position yourself to score a touchdown at the other end of the field.

This is free, pure value-based content, and worth every penny! After watching, be sure to leave a comment with your thoughts and join the conversation.

Make your business a castle, not a temporary dwelling,

Eric Walker

  2. Mike,
Well done, and so very true.

There’s more security as an entrepreneur, even during the startup and learning phases, than there is in a traditional job these days.

  3. I fully agree: Traditional jobs do not guarantee the “traditional security” anymore.

Looking for new opportunities, people will see the necessity of guidance and learning more about new businesses very soon. Renegade Pro helps to open the door!

  4. Mike, I couldn’t agree more.

There is a shift happening, a changing mind set, a movement of personal responsibility.

Renegade Professional provides the tools and the road map that allows us to make that shift from uncertainty and dependence to freedom.

  5. I’m in complete agreement. I was once employed with a company that promised longevity, and after ten years of service, there was a downsizing of the company that resulted in massive layoff. From then on I embarked on a home based business and had success in doing so. Renegade Professional provides you with the tools and training to accomplish that in today’s business environment.

    Comment by Claudio Crooks — January 27, 2010 @ 9:59 am

  6. As a football mom of three boys who played 8 years of Fball. the analogy works. Two sons played safety on the corner, uncanny in catching the ball carrier, linebacker, both doing kicking converts and FG keeping the game in their favour. A third son who played center of the O line and D line creating pockets for his QB and also reveling in chasing or sacking the opposing Qback

The QB is central, he depends on the team reading him and with him `reading“ the field as well.

Mike is persistent, consistent, integral and my QB to pay attention to. He reads and writes the playbook well. He aligns himself with the right `coaches, assistant coaches.

    This is a winning team.

    Comment by Pat Campbell — January 28, 2010 @ 8:27 am

  7. @Pat,

Brilliant. I love your comment. You’re good.

    Comment by ericwalker — January 28, 2010 @ 12:05 pm

  8. Hey, I loved the analogy. Made total sense to me.

Like I said to Charles Graham in FB, we cringed to watch Brett Farve or someone from the O Line Coaching, call a pass which got picked, instead of a sure Field Goal which would have taken the Vikings to the SuperBowl.

It would have been cool to watch Manning and Farve play the SuperBowl.

All that to say, Mike Klingler took his risks, had some falls, but his keen insight is at the top of his game.

This is the team to be on.

    Comment by Pat Campbell — January 28, 2010 @ 3:15 pm

  9. And not only that @Eric, our family has four of the Provincial Football Championship rings, a couple of years, two boys earned the same ring. :-)

that is of course, the equivalent of State Championships.

Miss those highschool games and the 13th man in the stands. :-)

  12. Mike,
I’ve worked as a marketing executive in ten major US corporations which no longer exist. It was good while it lasted. Renegade professional relights the fire in my belly to go at marketing with a new passion. I am overwhelmed at the moment but your coaching and proven success story keep me in the game. I couldn’t do it without the Renegade community. Thank from me ans my family!

The first Renegade Professional Live Event was held last weekend, and it proved to strengthen everything that has always been special about the Renegade Professional community.

Many who attended the event reported both personal and professional breakthroughs. Connections were made, relationships were formed and personalities were matched with avatars.

“Many Renegades have been in communication almost daily, over the phone or through email for years, and just met for the very first time face to face.”

-Lisa Hanfileti

There were many special moments and features from what will be a weekend not to be forgotten. Here at the Renegade Professional News, we’re going to be delivering many of those moments and features which were recorded in the form of videos and/or pictures over the coming days and weeks.

It seemed important to begin with the interview Didi Alcheva conducted with Mike Klingler first. In this video (featured at the top of this post), Mike breaks down the meaning behind “Global Entrepreneurial Movement,” and makes it clear that if you’re operating in the value model, you too can participate.

No one says it better than Mike, so take four minutes and watch the video now. Then check back later, as we’ll be adding more videos and pictures with Ann Sieg, Ty Tribble, Didi Alcheva, Alicia Bausley and a host of others.

Another thing, I encourage you to join our Renegade Professional News fan page, pictures and videos are also being uploaded there. You’ll also find the latest conversations and quick links.

What Mike Klingler Had to Say About the Renegade Professional Live Event

Rana Burr, Mike Klingler, Marie Leonard during a break in-between sessions at the first Renegade Professional Live Event.

Rana Burr, Mike Klingler, Marie Leonard in-between sessions at the Live Event.

Mike Klingler summed up his feelings and observations from the Live Event, which communicates the chord that was struck, and the thread everyone seemed to be following throughout the weekend.

Here are Mike’s words,

“I had really high expectations for the event and it far exceeded them.

More than anything I was impressed by the level of sincerity that’s been put into action by the people I met. What I mean by that is while I listened to where people were at and going with their businesses, I felt their authenticity (true selves) communicated… their values are getting aligned with how they earn a living and for me this is the key to a better world.

So I was moved to say the least. We’re seriously looking at doing another live event a lot sooner than I originally figured. This event energized me, inspired me and gave me TONS of new ideas. It sounds like it has done the same for many others and that’s really gratifying to hear!”
-Mike Klingler

  1. Thanks so much for investing all the time, effort, and expense the Live Event obviously required. I’m excited to think that you are already considering another event. How about on the East Coast this time? Seriously, when I think of how far some of the attendees came, Virginia was literally a short hop. And I believe everybody left Portland richer in knowledge and especially in relationships than when they came. And of course, relationships are the heart of Renegade Professional and Marketing Merge.
    God bless you all!

  3. It was not only wonderful to meet everyone, but I resonated on a deeper level with everyone because they were all about value, honesty and integrity.

Our mentors, Ann, Mike, Eric, Didi, Barbara, Patrice exhibit these qualities and like attracts like.

I do believe that there are not too many communities that demonstrate the same values. That’s what makes the Renegade community so special.

I left the event, blessed and grateful, for having had the opportunity to hug each and everyone of them in person.

  4. A huge hip, hip hooray to the Marketing Merge staff. The first annual live event was a tremendous success. It was great to meet everyone in person, the guest speakers were fantastic and the chance to network with Renegades from all over the world is something we’ll all remember for a life time.

Looking forward to hearing the many experiences we all shared in the beautiful city of Portland Oregon. I can imagine everyone’s bubbling with excitement and anticipation to get back to work and put to good use everything we learned over the weekend. So again thank you Marketing Merge for all you’ve done and continue to do for everyone in this community.

  5. Wow! What a great weekend, what an experience! Thank you to all the leaders, but also to all of the participants for such an enriching time. The knowledge, the relationships and the atmosphere is just unforgettable. Events like this are always a boost of energy and a breath of fresh air. But this one, unbelievable. The energy which it created, the vision it brought is just so hard to describe. Thank you Marketing Merge team!

  7. A big thank you to Mike and all the staff at Marketing Merge & RenPro!!!

Going along with Mike’s comments of being energized, inspired and getting a bunch of creative ideas are what I took away from the first ‘Live Event’! Hummm!
Live Event! I’d like to comment on that! The atmosphere was alive and the event was incredible! So many aha! moments I can’t recollect or even count them. I loved being with like-minded people of such high quality. Mike and Ann (on a first name basis) set the stage and created an atmosphere that we like to create in our coaching cognition sessions that we call a ’safe place’! In that atmosphere true learning takes place. It becomes like osmosis. It is not only taught but caught! You are continually taking in and getting energized, inspired and infused with creative ideas.

I am still riding this wave of energy and I don’t plan to stop!!!

To all kindred-spirits, keep riding the wave!!!!

  8. The true value of the Live Event will not be known for a period of time, but it will be huge. The quality of the presentations, the networking, and seeing the value constantly being added to the program were informative and inspirational. I was impressed with the Marketing Merge team, and want to sent a big shout out to Lindsay and the rest of the team for a job well done!

    Comment by Arne Bush — January 23, 2010 @ 2:00 pm

  9. The Live Event felt like a class reunion even though we were meeting face to face for the first time. Ann, Mike, Eric, Didi, Barbara, Patrice, Alicia, Deborah and Lee Ann are just as warm, caring and genuine in person as they are online. The value the weekend brought to those in attendance was incredible and far reaching. It’s exciting to think about the multitude of ways the wealth of information that was shared will be implemented. Alliances, collaborations and friendships were made, ideas were shared, insights were revealed, questions were answered and creative juices were flowing.

Thank you, again, to the Renegade team and all the incredible guest speakers who so generously gave of themselves. I would encourage anyone that couldn’t make it this year to start saving for next year. It could be life changing. It really was a fun and enriching experience.

We’re a GREAT group of people!

  10. I would’ve loved to have been at this live event – it was a bit too far away for me to travel at this time of year. It’s great to read all your comments about what you got out of it, and Mike and Didi’s video discussing why more and more people are becoming entrepreneurs and are using the internet.

    Comment by Julieanne van Zyl — January 23, 2010 @ 8:19 pm

  11. Thank you so much to all the mentors who provided value, integrity and friendship. I really felt like a member of a family. What a blessing to meet people who are successful, so willing to help and share their knowledge, a rare commodity in this “dog eat dog world”. I am also grateful for opportunity to have met and colloborated with some individuals during and after the event, and hope to form lasting relationships. It was truly an enriching experience.

  12. This was the first event of this type I have ever attended but not the last. I highly recommended to anyone serious about enriching their business and personal life to attend at least one a year. Getting involved with this Renegade community surpassed my already high expectations and took me to a higher lever of commitment. From all the comments I have seen in social media, blogs and this newsletter it provides proof I am not alone in my feelings. To our continued success!

  14. Being at the live event was amazing.

It did feel like a reunion. There was continual buzz as people did their best to connect with everyone/anyone they had opportunity to. Snippets of conversation happened continuously between sessions.

It was notable, that everyone was in their seats and ears perked for each session. The event was value packed. As always, Renegade Pro over-delivered.

Now, to take that energy, knowledge and resources and continue implementing.

    Comment by Pat Campbell — January 25, 2010 @ 7:55 am

  15. I do want to thank Mike, Didi, Eric, Lindsay, Barbara, Deborah, LeeAnn, Ann, Lisa and team and likely a multitude of others for their great gift of putting this event together.

Live Event is a great name for these gatherings! It is a good connotation of culminating cyber relationships in personal contact!

I look forward to the next one.

  16. Mike indicated that he was impressed by the “sincerity” and “authenticity” of the people that attended, and how”their values are getting aligned with how they earn a living.” It was true from the attendee side too – it was good for me to observe attitudes and behaviors of the organizers of this event and to see the sincerity and authenticity there as well. After listening to their instruction (Ann’s books and conference calls, Mike’s many tutorials) it was good to see that as people, they practice what they preach.

    Comment by Richard — January 25, 2010 @ 12:06 pm

  17. Hi Mike, DiDi and Eric!

What an awesome video! I love’s Mike’s desire to consistently remind us of the realities facing not just us on a personal level but our country and the world as a whole. I respect leaders who are aware of what’s going on around us… love that he said “We can’t sustain an economy by printing more money…” Yes, internet marketing creates amazing opportunities and leverage making the world a much smaller place, creating possibilities everywhere!

Fortunately enough, I sensed this feeling of taking part in this Global Entrepreneurial Movement about 2 years ago and after investing thousands of dollars, countless hours and long learning curves, I feel so empowered and confident to contribute knowledge, skills and resources to enable entrepreneurs with families depending on them to effectively participate in this movement…

    Thanks for this video!

All The Best to All of You At MM and RPRo!

    Emma ;) BTW – I love Mike’s new “look” – LOL ;)

  18. Fantastic!

Thanks to Mike and Ann and all the team members and everyone that made the 1st Live Event possible … and memorable.

The speakers were truly inspirational. No question they delivered valuable ideas – that we’re all scrambling to implement right now.

But the best part was meeting everyone face-to-face. Old friends and new friends, meeting and interacting, sharing and collaborating – it was great.

  20. Dear Renegade Team,

I just want to thank you all for the wonderful experience that I had at the Live Event.

I commend you for all the thought and work that you put into creating this fantastic event.

When I decided to attend this event back in the fall, I named this my Great Adventure and it truly was that.

I have attended other conferences and never have I felt so welcomed and at home.

Every one of the team members made every effort to connect and answer questions .Your ready availability and giving spirit was amazing.

Michael Dell says that in order to succeed on line, you must have Content, Commerce and Community.

Renegade’s practice of value added, collaboration and a giving community were very evident to all those who attended.

Your continuing plans for growth in 2010 are exciting and show that as you grow, so do we.

Renegade is a community where we live not for a short time but for a very long time. The people we meet become our friends and business partners.

As we develop the skills as online marketers, we are also developing a Renegade mindset. That we will work in an atmosphere that reflects the spirit of generosity, integrity, loyalty and respect.

I am looking forward to our next Live Event.

    Warmest Regards,
    Pam

  21. Mike hit the nail on the head.

The global entrepreneurial movement is happening NOW. Who will jump on the train is largely determined by those that conquer their fear of losing their “secure” job, and step out of their comfort zone to create something truly big.

    Comment by Patrick Howard — January 26, 2010 @ 2:42 pm

  22. I believe that reverberation from the event will continue for a long time to come. Like the circles continuing outwards from a stone dropped into the water…the message and powerful connections from the RenPro Live event are already impacting people in a manner that signals just the beginning.

The Global Entrepreneurial Movement is evidenced in many places…and expanding every day. In my frame of reference, the 21st century paradigm is a cognitive and behavioral shift from the that of the 20th century (which was formed by the industrial revolution, years before). We are transitional generation. I predict that our children will live their lives and create their income in a very different manner than our parents…by collaboration, insight, and independent entrepreneurial projects that relate back to a community wide method.

    Wow.!

  24. We are seeing a movement away from corporatism toward small businesses. A hundred years ago, most people worked for themselves. Hopefully we will see a significant number working for themselves in the near future.

  26. Greetings fellow Renegades!

I just want to say that everybody’s comments pretty much sum up what I felt, experienced, and gained from the live event.

There is no replacement for in-person human interaction. In terms of the Renegade teachings, a live interaction cements a quicker understanding of concepts, ideas, and actions to take.

I want to make a prediction: I think that this type of entrepreneurial live event will draw crowds in the 10’s of thousands in the coming years (I’m thinking about another 5-10 years or so).

Here we are, the fortunate ones at the very cusp of an unfolding revolution!

I look forward to seeing you all at future live events!

    Take care,

    Patrick

  27. One of the best events I have attended. Such inspiring people. Mike, Didi, Ann, Patrice have truly given me to market on the internet. What inpressed me the most was the age group of some people who are having some very great success. It just goes to show that it is never too late to learn and apply. And Didi , thanks again for showing us how to work smart and instead of working hard.
    Thank you all.

  31. WOW! My heart and head both are still full from all that I received from the Live Event!! One thing I can say about this special group of Entrepreneurs: our hearts as well as our heads were in unity throughout the conference. We are all learning how to build businesses that are value-based and constructed on a sure foundation filled with integrity and a commitment to excellence. Mike and Ann have led the way and have served us very well through their examples. The conference exceeded all my expectations and I am looking forward to attending the next one. I consider myself very blessed to be a true Renegade!

  33. I don’t know if I will ever come down from the live event. The relationship building that occurred there was incomparable to anything I have ever experienced before in my 39 years. We’re talking life-long bonds here. But way beyond that was the incredible breakthrough that I made in my business that perfectly aligned it with my passion. Not only do I have a more meaningful course ahead of me, but I also feel empowered to take massive action on my short, middle, and long term goals. And it was all because I attended the live event.

  34. MY head is more clear now. The ideas that I got from the live event are awesome I have been in contact with many of the people that I met they are no longer pictures they are people that are friends. Due to Mike and Ann’s vision where would we be. Yes we are on the cusp of a sea change. So lets crush it.

  36. In case any of you want to read the full text version that accompanies the videos that Didi has published in her interview with Ann Sieg and Mike Klingler, find them at these URL locations within the RPro News blog here.

    http://www.renegadeprofessionalnews.com/mike-klingler-business-field-genera.html

    http://www.renegadeprofessionalnews.com/what-ann-sieg-says-about-the-entrepreneurial-movement-video.html

For future reference, you can very easily find additional content here at the RPro News blog simply by finding the section called CATEGORIES to the right hand side bar. If, for example, you click on the link that says, MIKE KLINGLER under categories, you’ll find all the content that he’s either created, or that pertains to him in some direct way or another.

Enjoy! TONS more free content in the pipeline.

And don’t forget that you can send people here with your affiliate ID, so for example if you tweeted something or sent someone via Facebook, or even anchor text it, you can use your affiliate ID. For example, it would look like this: http://username.RenegadeProfessionalNews.com

When using your affiliate ID in your tweets or Facebook, I recommend using a URL shortening service where you can also track the number of clicks. I have just started to use http://tr.im/ and find it helpful in many ways.

  38. Mike & Ann, It was quite an exciting experience to meet you face to face. This is not always tranferred over the internet even with videos. I am so glad I could be a part of the Live Event. There was an increased level of confidence by many people as they told each other their challenges and solutions. There was a major buzz of ideas exchanged during the entire weekend. I have been in the background in my studies and education of RP and RBT. Now I am more out-front and open to discuss my directions, ideas and problems. Thank you!

To think that 9 months ago, I didn’t have any idea how powerful social media was in connecting with such an awesome group of busines builders. With my trainings in Renegade Professional, Coaching Cognition training and connecting with new friends from Facebook, Twitter and Youtube were just the beginning. It wasn’t until I flew from NC to OR to meet my online friends in person that it clicked. I came home motivated and ready to build my home business knowing I had a lot of support from the Renegade community. I suggest that anyone seeking ideas for a home based business, sign up and receive the Renegade Professional News. It will change your life.

  42. We have been following Mike and Anne’s work through the daily emails for sometime. The reason I am writing is to ask for feedback below.

JOBz is a reality TV series in the latter stages of development. http://www.jobztv.com. ELEVATOR PITCH: JOBz takes 10 unemployed candidates and in a 30 day intensive boot camp we remake, retool, retrain, reinvent them to re-enter the workforce. The show is empowering and not a race to the bottom. There are 9 on-hand nationally recognized coaches drawn from a variety of practical and success building disciplines teaching the Candidates and the TV audience valuable skill sets (Web 2.0 based) that are in and outside the box in order to create successful results.

JOBz was part of the Global Entrepreneurial Week this past November. We are aware of its mission and endorse it.

It sounds like all of you who attended the recent events in Oregon benefited immensely from the experience. So as one of the producers of JOBz I would be greatly interested in how you think we might fit into JOBz what you learned about this predicted trend of 40% of people being independent contractors by 2019. That is a welcome and meaningful statistical change. It is something which we need to pay attention to in our show. It’s exciting and I welcome comments from you here or directly at jobzrealitytv@gmail.com. Thank you.

  45. Our 1st RenPro event was excellent.
It was great to meet, in person ,many of our RenPro
group members I felt I already knew via Marketing Merge, and Coaching Cognition. It was equally great to meet and connect with new people. There is such an openess, willingness to help, and share among our entreprenural group.
History has proven that just a small nuculeous of committed leaders can change the course of events and influence a nation. It is an honor and a priviledge to be part of a group of people who’s
values, integrity, honor and commitments are aligned with things I hold dear. May we lead the way to reclaim the values that made our nation strong and great, with the entreprenueral, pioneering ethos of our American founding fathers. Great leaders are sacrificial ,givers and servers, no matter what country we are from. These values were repeadedly expressed and demonstrated throughout our live event weekend by not only our fantastic team leaders, but those of us attending…wow …freedom to become the very best of who we were designed to be,learning skills to enable us to pass the baton to others.

I want to thank all of you for these great videos. They have shown me the value of all that was learned there and what wonderful people are part of the Renegade family. It’s a fantastic feeling to know that we are in the right place at the right time.

As Mike said in the video, people are realizing that it is not the state or federal government that is going to get us out of this mess that our country is in. It is us, the entrepreneurs that are the ones to get this country back on a strong financial foundation again.

I hope to see more great videos from this event.

  55. It’s so true..the shift to indiviual and separate home economies is here. It is already evident in pockets of society, in that, the masses of employed people… those who have suffered the wrath of downsizing, and outsizing, are turning to creating their own economic amd financial entities from home. The resultant of this recession and all of its collatoral damage is showing an emergence of people who are poised to capture a spirit of success within a community of like minded and cohesive business people. It is exciting to be part of that, whilst learning how to nurture a successful and independent group of business owners. Many thanks to Ann, and her entire team and staff of hard working and caring people, who are making this journey to our success, a fun and fulfilling one.

He attracted Didi, Ann, Eric, Patrice, and Barbara. They each are unique and yet similar. All have heart, they are human, and especially they all have integrity. 76. Hi All! I am hard at work trying to implement what I am being taught at the Coaching Cognition Classes. I must say that attending the “Live Event” has changed my prespective on, well…everything!!! I remember when I first signed up for the event I constantly wondered if I had done something irresponsible, afterall I haven’t reached the success I had hoped for yet and my bills were going to continue no matter what!

Well I just want to say that it was well worth every penny that I spent and every mile that I traveled. Some things you just can’t put a pricetag on. I know that the live event and all of the speakers it provided, along with all of the other guest, will prove to be some of the most valuable training money could buy.

Mike Klingler laid it out for everyone to see, colaboration must take place if you want your business to thrive and grow. It is difficult to be an expert in all areas of your business model or areas you can associate with your business. That is why it is so important to collaborate with others…whether it is a JV partner or a number of leaders in different areas that can relate to each other. Besides, lets face it, a one man show can only take you so far. And even with a one man show, there is always others in the background doing their part!!!

What was my take away from Portland? At one time everyone that was on that stage was in my seat! Through dedication, determination, and never giving up they made it and so will I!

  85. Nice video Richard. I’m impressed with your skills!

Collaboration is definitely where it’s at. I know it’s important but sometimes it’s hard for me to make it happen. I don’t know if I’m afraid to ask or nervous the project won’t turn out. Or if collaboration is harder online.

I’m looking forward to your next video!

  86. Thanks to Pat Campbell, David Enders, Richard Vidlak, Garrick Kruse, Angela Arnold, Gilbert James, and Alex Horton for your kind, supportive comments about the collaboration video. I have posted Part 2 at http://www.youtube.com/rgoutal

The Renegade Community provides so much support! What a boost! All of which is **in addition to** the training and other programs. “Ye who are weary come home.”

This community has benefitted from many fine leaders, but I have to single out Eric Walker who quickly befriended me on Better Networker about a year ago, willingly provided words of support and useful advice, and has been a consistent model of doing the right things. Without a doubt he does this for tons of other people… I don’t know how he finds the time. Thanks Eric for all you’re doing.

    Comment by Richard — February 15, 2010 @ 4:37 pm

  87. @Richard,

It’s your kind and acknowledging words why I do it. And because I believe in people. I sincerely do. Perhaps part of that comes from my background as a teacher. I used to teach 4th graders, and then follow them up to 5th grade. I’d spend two years teaching a young person. All subjects. What that experience taught me was that ANYTHING is doable with consistency. There were students who could barely read, and two years later they’d be reading at an 8th grade level, and have heaps of confidence heading into middle school. And there was no one pace that fit every kid. Everyone had their own ebb and flow. That’s how I look at what we’re doing here.

I highly encourage everyone to check out Richard at http://www.youtube.com/rgoutal His videos are great, especially the series he’s doing on Collaboration and fitting the pieces together. In particular, find his latest video here –> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_z1ISsGGmuI

    Thanks again Richard,

  88. @Kari Baxter (Keep Learning Blog),

Why do you think it’s hard to make it happen? Have you found THE collaborative project that really makes you sing? You definitely have the skill set to make it happen. Whatever we can do for you here, let us know. Also, if you have specific questions about collaboration — whatever that may be — write it out here. Richard is making the process of collaboration a study, creating solid content about it, but the more feedback from people about the real issues with collaboration the better. We want to address those things. This community is a collaboration, and I want to really flesh this subject out.

Always love your comments/thoughts, keep it coming.

  89. Richard, you made me stop and think, what do I have to bring to the table for collaboration in this Part 2 video on Collaboration.

I appreciate the list you provided. I want to be a collaborator. I know I do have contributions to offer, but because it feels intangible, I have difficulty putting value on that contribution.

I have much to learn from you on this score. I recognize that working together with partners is way more fun and productive.

I’m going to get your ebook.

You have done another terrific job with this product.

  15. And the party continues all weekend!

Well, I got my hugs!! When the live event was announced, I celebrated the opportunity to meet personally, the Marketing Merge team. This team have been a big part of my life for some time and it is amazing to connect in person.

The buzz of sound as RPro students and staff take every opportunity to network is alive with excitement.

This is the place to be this w/e. Plan to be here at the next event!

    Comment by Pat Campbell — January 17, 2010 @ 8:38 am

  16. To my new RP family. Pat was right>> this is the place to be. The event was awesome. The networking with people with like values and business experiences is nothing like I have experience ever before. I feel as thought I have this deep connection with everyone I met. I believe by being part of this event will catapult many of our businesses to a new level. I encourage you to be at the next event.
    Take Care

  17. Head still reeling from this weekend’s event. It will at least a couple of weeks to totally digest all that went on.

But the most important for me was re-connecting with friends that had only been this tiny tiny icon.

Take it from me, there’s nothing like the real thing!

    Comment by Marie Leonard — January 20, 2010 @ 10:00 am

  18. My feet still haven’t touched the ground since I landed.

Being part of a group of people that feel the same about marketing online has really soothed my soul.

I am not alone anymore even though I may be physically in a remote corner of northern Ontario.

It will take time for me to digest it all.

    Comment by Marie Leonard — January 20, 2010 @ 1:09 pm

  19. Marie, Ed, Pat, Tom, Everyone I met in Portland – so glad you are not a tiny little icon anymore!

It’s going to take a little while to decompress from all the activity and excitement.
I thoroughly enjoyed the entire weekend!

    Michael Wilson

    Comment by Michael Wilson — January 20, 2010 @ 2:14 pm

  20. I had really high expectations for the event and it far exceeded them.

It sounds like it has done the same for many others and that’s really gratifying to hear!

    Comment by Mike Klingler — January 21, 2010 @ 12:37 am

    Comment by Jerry Graham — January 22, 2010 @ 10:50 am

  22. Thank you Everyone who worked so hard on this and took the action to attend.

In just one week, I feel that I am 6 more months ahead in my business just by being able to connect, reflect and learn from so many in such a short period of time. Your input into me and business has been profound and business changing. Live events by far move you faster, quicker and gets you more in touch with what you want to do and why.

Sincere thanks to you all and I for one will be at every live event I can attend from now on. It does make all the difference.

Hope to do it again next year, you guys really know how to through party. Oh and the dinner Friday night was fabulous.

Mom is Able to Teach & Guide Autistic Son to Start Own Internet Business with Renegade Professional Training

Just as we promised, Marketing Merge is announcing another all expense paid winner to our Renegade Professional Live Event this weekend.

But first, have you ever read anything more inspiring?

Go ahead and read a portion from Rana Burr’s all expense paid Renegade Professional Live Event winning essay,

“Nearest and dearest to me, though, is the guidance that I have been able to give to my 13 year old son as he builds his own internet business. Most people would have given up on the idea of him ever being able to support himself financially because of his autism.”

Using Renegade Professional to integrate family into the culture of her home business environment isn’t the only reason Rana Burr was chosen as the second winner of the all expense paid Renegade Professional Live Event. Rana systematically broke down with succinct clarity how Renegade Professional has enhanced her business with specific and clear results.

Read Rana Burr’s full contest winning essay below

rana & kidsWhat Renegade Professional did for me was to fill in my marketing gaps, making me far more effective and knowledgeable. The comprehensive training offered here is awe-inspiring.

It is also a resource that I can whole-heartedly recommend to marketers of any level. My further involvement in Renegade Breakthrough Mentoring as a home study student helped me to make huge leaps in my confidence and in my vision for my business.

Here’s what has happened as a result:

1. My upline asked me to lead a small group in developing a lead generation system for our team.

Thanks to the knowledge I have gained through Marketing Merge, I was able to guide them through the process of setting up their own HubPages, Squidoo lenses, and blog posts. In addition, they are now back-link-building experts, so that our page is #2 on Yahoo for an extremely competitive search phrase, generating multiple leads on a daily basis.

2. I have been able to offer my services to a handful of local business owners that I really like so that they can enjoy online success, too.

This has been extremely gratifying in light of the current economy. Not only have I helped them to stay in business, but I am having fun and making money at the same time!

3. Being involved with the Super Guide program, even though it has only been for a short time, has enabled me to team up on an amazing new project with someone I consider to be a superstar.

Awesome.

4. Nearest and dearest to me, though, is the guidance that I have been able to give to my 13 year old son as he builds his own internet business.

Most people would have given up on the idea of him ever being able to support himself financially because of his autism. Thanks to Ann and Mike, I now consider him to be my business partner! He is so good at taking what he has learned and implementing it right away (as opposed to taking notes and adding it to a long list of things to do). I hope everyone will get to meet him someday soon.

One last thing.

The sense of community that Ann, Mike, Eric, Didi, and the rest of the team at Marketing Merge have built is incredible

.

These guys are genuinely committed to seeing everyone be successful. I especially appreciate how they give their members opportunities to contribute on a regular basis. I don’t think there is another organization like theirs anywhere in the world, and I feel extremely grateful to be a part of it.

Great job Rana! We’re looking forward to meeting you with the rest of the Marketing Merge community this weekend here in Portland, Oregon.

The team here at Marketing Merge is happy that Renegade Professional has produced good results for you. This remains the motivation that keeps us continuing the product and program development that makes Renegade Professional the best training on the internet.

Breaking News – Contest Winner Marie Leonard Responds with Unsolicited “Trimmed” Version of Winning Essay. Read It Here, Read It Now

I woke up this morning to find a message from Marie Leonard with an abbreviated version of her winning essay. The word count was 439. It was just as brilliant. But the bigger (and more impressive) issue here is that no one asked Marie to do that. By no means did she have to or need to. It just goes to show what kind of special people we have in this community.

Read Marie Leonard’s winning essay-

When I was nine, I had to watch over my 2 year old brother while my mum
went to town for errands. Being nine, a little brother was more of a nuisance
than a blessing, especially when potty time came around. I had
explicit instructions to sit him on his little potty chair and do what was
necessary when he was done. Oh joy!

Once I had disposed of the removable pot, I had to extricate him from this
contraption. The potty chairs back then had a movable arm that swung down
in front of the child to stop them from getting up. Well, the arm got
stuck. I tried everything. I shook and I pulled and at one point grabbed
him by the ankles and dangled him upside down in the hopes that the potty
chair would just fall off. No such luck!

You might be wondering what all of this has to do with being a Renegade
Professional. Well, it wasn’t until I became a Renegade Professional that
I stopped hanging upside down by the ankles. It was here that I had to
take stock of where I had been and where I wanted to go.

Focus, resolve to succeed and confidence that I will succeed, are now my
constant companions.

As to what I learned? Nothing easier with Steve Anderson’s insightful
Wordpress tutorials clearly describing the funnel effect of marketing.
Applying what I learned as a member of the link logic team further embedded
in me the importance of SEO done right.

The perks don’t stop there, however. Thanks to Marketing Merge
generosity, Daivd Garfinkel, copywriting guru, exploded the lid off
Pandora’s copywriting box in a 6 week Ultimate Copywriting Course that
invariably has become part of my writing style today.

Better equipped with marketable skills, I now feel confident building an
SBI site that will deliver the kind of value people are looking for.

However, the knowledge I now have weighs heavily upon my shoulders. I can
no longer write just so-so, get by content. It’s a matter of delivering
value or not deliver at all.

Having achieved super guide status and now participating as a PBN trainer
developing the alternative health field is allowing me to give back. I am
doubly blessed.

Moreover, participating in the Coaching Cognition course has me ripping
away any pretense at faking it. Here is a safety net without judgment.
These coaching skills are now an important part of the resume that I bring
to the online marketing table.

Oh and by the way, my poor brother had to spend 2 hours shackled to his
potty before deliverance came!

Thanks Marie. You really didn’t have to do that. You went above and beyond what was expected of you. I guess that keeps with what you were talking about by being able to give back just as much as you feel you are receiving.

Keep eyes posted for another all expense paid trip winner.

Contest Winning Copywriting that was too Good? (Seriously!)

Get a load of this… here is some Renegade Professional News for you…

Apparently, we got so caught up in the brilliance of Marie Leonard’s all expense winning Renegade Professional Live Event ticket essay that we missed something in our own fine print.

Ooops!

When we invited you to reply at our Renegade Professional News

Facebook page with your response for the contest, we specified it should be no longer than 450 words.

We completely lost sight of this when reading Marie Leonard’s

winning contest essay because it was so good; so captivating, we lost sight of one thing…

It was longer than 450 words.

(Don’t worry Marie, we’ll get you here even if we’re all taking turns pushing you in the wheelbarrow).

Anyway, we discussed this as a team and came to a conclusion.

Some could perceive this as an unfair advantage, and we don’t want that.

We realized that we made an honest mistake, and we want to own up to it.

So we’re going to announce ANOTHER ALL EXPENSE PAID LIVE EVENT WINNER.

That’s correct.

We’re heading back to Renegade Professional News Facebook page to review the essays for one more deserving winner

.

We’ll announce the winner in 24 hours.

Please except our apologies for not reading our own fine print.

With strong core values at the heart of our community, we feel it was important to communicate this to you.

Be on the lookout tomorrow, as we announce another all expense

paid Renegade Professional Live Event winner.

Sincerely,

Renegade Professional Team

P.S. Late Breaking News – I woke up this morning to find a message from Marie Leonard with an abbreviated version of her winning essay. The word count was 439. It was just as brilliant. But the bigger (and more impressive) issue here is that no one asked Marie to do that. By no means did she have to or need to. It just goes to show what kind of special people we have in this community.

And the Winner of the Renegade Professional Live Event Is…(Drum Roll Please)

If you haven’t been keeping up with the Renegade Professional News, we happily announced the winner of the all expenses paid trip to the Renegade Professional Live Event in Portland, Oregon this January 16th and 17th during our Ustream broadcast we held at the Marketing Merge office.

To participate, you simply had to go to our Renegade Professional Facebook page and state the ways in which Renegade Professional has made a difference for you. Over 55 of you submitted essays for us to review.

And after reading and re-reading the contestant entries, it was Marie Leonard who clearly stood out as the winner. Her submission addresses the over-the-top value that Renegade Professional and the Marketing Merge community as a whole, has to offer.

And likewise, as Marie so eloquently states in the conclusion of her submission, it’s not that she has only taken all this value to build up her skill set, and therefore realizing that becoming an internet marketer is not a pipe dream, it’s that the value she’s received is allowing her to give it back (in a big way).

Marie you get it. You get it BIG TIME!

There were two other winners who won one free admission ticket to the Renegade Professional Live Event. They were Dotty Scott and Angela Arnold. We will feature their winning essays at The Renegade Professional News.

But right now – don’t hesitate – read Marie Leonard’s winning essay. Read every word. This is some of the best content you’ll read all year not because she gives so much credit to Renegade Professional.

We say it’s the best content you’ll read all year because Marie clearly is using what she has learned, and that is brilliantly illustrated by the copywriting skills she employed to craft this essay. She also integrates humor, which is a great strategy for grabbing people’s attention.

And she did! She definitely grabbed our attention, and when you begin to read Marie’s essay, she’ll grab yours too.

Marie Leonard’s All Expense Paid Trip to Portland Live Event Winning Essay

Marie Leonard

Marie Leonard

When I was nine, I had to watch over my 2 year old brother while my mum went to town for errands. Being nine, a little brother was more of a nuisance than a blessing, especially when potty time came around. I had explicit instructions to sit him on his little potty chair and do what was necessary when he was done. Oh joy!

Once I had disposed of the removable pot, I had to extricate him from this contraption. The potty chairs back then had a movable arm that swung down in front of the child to stop them from getting up off the seat. Well, the arm got stuck and here was my poor brother, unable to get off the chair.

I tried everything. I shook and I pulled and at one point grabbed him by the ankles and dangled him upside down in the hopes that the potty chair would just fall off. No such luck!

You might be wondering what all of this has to do with being a Renegade Professional. Well, it wasn’t until I became a Renegade Professional that I stopped hanging upside down by the ankles. It was here that I had to take stock of where I had been and where I wanted to go.

I became more focused as I applied the lessons learned. My resolve to succeed grew. If Mike (Klingler)could do it, so could I. If Ann (Sieg), DiDi (Alcheva) and Eric (Walker) could do it, so could I. I now feel more and more validated that my decision to become an online marketer is not a pie in the sky dream, but a reachable vision that Renegade Professional has clearly articulated for me.

Attending Steve Anderson’s WordPress course was a real eye opener for me. It’s not that I didn’t know anything about WordPress. After all, I maintain two WordPress sites and do all the technical work myself.

No, it’s the concept of building a funnel structure that the search engines like, and that sets your site apart from all others that are just haphazardly put together, no matter how good the content. I could really appreciate the value of that knowledge and have since started to revamp my blogs with that structure in mind.

What helped even further was being a member of the Super Guide program. And within the Super Guide program, being a member of the link logic team. This forced me to really understand the concept fully. As a Super Guide, I was practicing what was being preached!

Moreover, I have now ventured into SBI territory, creating a site that I know will deliver the kind of value people are looking for.

Eric Walker’s latest post to all Super Guides about burrowing down deep and becoming a relative expert/authority on one particular topic, gave me lots of food for thought. I love doing video and so have started a series of videos that will promote each tier of my site. Along with the specific knowledge I gained on keyword research and linking strategies, I can now easily see how to monetize it.

Without the background tutorials provided in Renegade Professional, I doubt if my grasp of those concepts would be as clear today.

Who said Pandora’s Box was a bad thing! That’s how I view David Garfinkel’s Ultimate Copy Writing Course. As a member of the Super Guide program, I actually received Garfinkel’s course for free. He helped me “blow the lid,” and made it alright to use imagery and feelings in one’s writing that captures the audience and keep them wanting more. It’s not that I didn’t know that one could not write this way, but what I didn’t know was how I could. He clearly defined the guidelines and even gave us all templates to make the writing process even easier. What a guy!

However, the knowledge I took away from this course weighs heavily upon my shoulders now. I can no longer write just “so-so, get by content.” I am now obliged to deliver in an entertaining and value driven way or not deliver at all.

To top it all, taking the Coaching Cognition course has me ripping away any pretense at faking it. It is also providing me with a safety net I never had before. Knowing there is someone there who understands, and to whom I can confide my apprehension, successes and vision with, is too big for words.

It is so huge that I feel compelled to provide the same service for others. After all, other people feel uncertain and apprehensive too and may need a sympathetic ear where judgment just is not part of the vocabulary.

Again, if I hadn’t become a Renegade Professional in the first place, I may never have advanced as far as fast. Being a Super Guide and PBN trainer to boot has allowed me to take, but more importantly, it is allowing me to give back. I am doubly blessed.

Oh and by the way, my poor brother had to spend 2 hours shackled to his potty before deliverance came!

Season Greetings to All,
Marie Leonard

Hope you enjoyed that. Thank you Marie Leonard! You are proof that what we’re doing is working. We certainly are looking forward to meeting you in two weeks here in Portland for the Renegade Professional Live Event.

Angela Arnold’s Live Event Ticket Winning Essay

I came to Renegade Professional seven weeks ago.
After studying Dotty Scott’s Twitter tutorial, I created my own twitter background. Although I have 4000+ Twitter followers, I gained valuable insights into automating my tweets and leveraging twitter applications.
I’d already set up some blogs, so I thought I knew what I was doing. Nevertheless I reviewed Steven Anderson’s Wordpress tutorials, and I was astounded to find out I had the wrong settings on my blog. After changing my settings and adding the ping services he recommended, I experienced a whopping 3200% increase in traffic to one of my blogs. Now I promise to review ALL of the Renegade trainings because one nugget of overlooked information can have an astonishing effect on your business.
I’m very enthusiastic about everything Renegade Professional has to offer. I look forward to becoming a coach, Super Guide, trainer, and a PBN Marketing Specialist. I have created more than 100 videos, and I am planning to get into video marketing and podcasting in a big way.
Coaching Cognition is absolutely phenomenal. In fewer than three weeks, I have learned and implemented so much. In fact, I just helped my son work through an employment-related situation by just helping him to understand the difference between sympathetic listening and empathetic listening.
My peer coaches and I have already engaged in such deeply personal and empowering conversations that I’m certain we’ll be friends and business partners for life.
What makes Renegade Professional so compelling is its hands-on instruction. Research indicates that we’ll remember 10% of what we hear; 30% of what we hear and see; 70% of what we hear, see, and do; and almost 90% of what we hear, see, do, and teach. Renegade Professional encourages us to teach others what we know, and that’s the most effective type of learning.
Despite all of the fantastic training, the most precious resource of Renegade Professional is its people.
Warren Little was the first person to offer feedback on my newly published website.
When I created an autoresponder sequence for my leads, I contacted some Renegade Facebook friends whom I’d never met and requested a brief testimonial to use as social proof for my email campaign. Within 24 hours, I received written testimonials from Barbara Silva and Cindy Schulson, and a bit later from Becky Joubert, James Rouse, Liz Bronson, and Donna Wells.
The close-knit Renegade Professional community is inhabited by go-givers and dynamos, and I am terribly grateful to have found these caring, incredibly generous folks. We renegades develop unprecedented leadership skills as we plant our marketing flags in cyberspace.
It’s an incredibly rewarding, deeply fulfilling journey.
Thank you so much, Mike, Ann, and the entire renegade family.

Dotty Scott’s Live Event Ticket Winning Essay

Dotty Scott

Dotty Scott

I use Renegade Professional in a slightly different way than the average person.

I came to Renegade when it was newly launched because of reading Ann’s Renegade ebook. I own and operate a web design business and I had been previously thinking that my clients need more than just a website – they need to learn how to market their new site.

I had no experience with Squidoo, HubPages (never even heard of them). I knew what blogging was but never had done anything with it. I basically had no experience with Social Media of any kind.

I went through some (not all) of the video trainings in the back office – a few each weekend. I then started using what I had learned for my own business to see what results I could get. My traffic and website inquiries went up drastically.

I then took the lessons learned and started social media consulting (an add-on package) for my clients to teach them how to use social media in their business too. Selling this social media package has increased the bottom line for my business and carried me through the summer months that are traditionally very dry.

Prior to Renegade Professional I had never made a Camtaisa training – did not know how. Renegade Professional taught me how to use the Camtaisa technology and I have been able to produce useful trainings for both the Renegade Professional community and for my customer base – another add-on sale for my business.

Renegade Professional has taught me ways to increase the dollar amount of each sael per customer as well as how to bring in new customers, and even customers that do not need a website but need either technical web help or help with social media.

Renegade Professional has helped my business get through a very tough year, and come out with increased revenue over the past years.

Way to go!

When Marie Leonard Says She Lives Off the Grid, She Really Means Off the Grid!

Marie Leonard lives off the grid. We didn’t know just “how off the grid” until we contacted her to inform her of winning the all expense paid trip to Portland, Oregon for the Renegade Professional Live Event.

Ever heard of Cochrane, Ontario? Me either. Take a look at the Google Map to see what “off the grid” really means.

It's a long way from Cochrane, Ontario Canada to Portland, Oregon USA

It's a long way from Cochrane, Ontario Canada to Portland, Oregon USA

Marie, respectfully, once told me it would suit her better if Super Guide webinars were earlier than the usual 6:30 PST/EST because for her, that’s about the time she runs the generator to boost their backup batteries, and going out to start that generator at -20 degrees is better at 6:30 EST than it is at 9:30 EST.

Not your average internet marketer, eh?!

Marie is an alternative health researcher and practitioner who has recently expanded her knowledge to marketing online.

Marie, literally, lives off the grid – in the bush – in a log home overlooking a lake where internet access is very limited. This has challenged her to overcome this barrier. As a result, she loves to help others who may be similarly challenged by coaching them to be successful online.

Just to give you an idea of how far Marie has to travel to reach Portland, she would normally have to drive a full day to reach the nearest airport. But instead, Marketing Merge is arranging it so she only has to drive about an hour to a small-time nearby local airport. From there, Marie will be able to connect to a larger airport, and make her way to Portland.

Take a look at pictures of Marie’s property.

It might have been easy to conveniently skip by Marie’s winning essay. There are that many top responses. Doing so could have been a more prudent business decision. But that’s exactly the point, Marketing Merge has proven to make wise business decision after wise business decision. That’s what creates a million dollar company. And those decisions get made by putting people first.

Great job Marie Leonard. On behalf of all Renegade Professional and Marketing Merge, we’re wishing you the very safest of travels.

In fact, we wish all of you traveling from great distances safe travels, we are excited to meet you all. We’ll see you in about 10 days.

  1. Marie – I know you’ve told me about living ‘off the grid’, but seeing the pictures and the map really puts it in perspective.

It looks so peaceful – what a beautiful view!

I look forward to meeting you in Portland.
    Safe travels!

  2. Thanks Michael. Me too! But Mike may have to whip out that wheel barrow he mentioned to come and get me with if I don’t see any air plane ticket action real soon.

  4. Marie, such brilliant copy writing and I know you echoed the sentiments of many Renegade Professionals but you said it so magnificently for us all. I loved the humour and the way you kept us there until the end guessing about the potty.

Have an incredible time in Portland on this historical occasion.

Perhaps we can expect a great piece of content relaying all the wonderful things and people you will encounter.

  5. Marie, you put into words so well, how the journey Renegade Professional has manifested for most of us who have plugged through to the Super Guide program.

It is like moving from using bird shot for hunting White Tail deer in the back forty to rifle. The target is much more focused, the aim is sure, a direct hit in much more likely to happen.

Coaching Cognition is the icing on the cake, or the deer in the bag (lol) with the added skill sets of listening, understanding and guiding.

Great essay, and I do look forward to a big hug in Portland.

  6. Cool, I just got to Eric’s last comments about “reading the fine print”.

This is just like Marketing Merge, to be so generous on one end to operate from the “heart and gut response”. Then when a goof up is made, to acknowledge it and make good on it.

    Congratulations to the second winner.

  7. Hello, everyone.

First of all, I am sending this message out to the entire Renegade community.

I don’t usually go public on a lot of blogs, but I feel compelled to write a few items. Please forgive me if I ramble or go off-topic. I feel like Sally Fields when she won an Oscar and blurted out as part of her acceptance speech, “You like me. You really like me!”

Marie, I’d like to applaud your contest victory, and I’m sure you have many achievements to be proud of. Even though your home is in the boonies, it looks like a very pleasant place to live. I am also glad that we are in the same Coaching Cognition training class. We’ll have lots of things to talk about in Portland, and I am looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the renegades.

Dotty, please accept my congratulations for your extremely well-written and heartfelt essay. Thanks for thinking of me and referring a facebook fan. We really have to look each other up at the Live Event.

As a testament to the strength and caring of our supportive community, I started receiving pats of the back from my friends and associates as soon as my name was announced. It was truly thrilling and a marvelous way to start the new year.

I will work my hardest to make 2010 a fantastic one that exemplifies the best that Renegade Professional and attraction marketing have to offer.

So once again, thanks Mike, Ann, Eric, Didi, and congrats Marie and Dotty.

  8. Marie,
I know we talked already, but I wanted you to know how proud I was of you. You always go over and above what is expected.
I love hearing about you living “off the grid”. You’re very deserving.
And Dotty and Angela are 2 lucky and talented marketers as well!

  10. @Pat Campbell,

Thanks Pat. One thing about Marketing Merge and it can be summed up in a word:

    C A R E

  11. @ Eric
    Let’s have fun with the word C A R E !! :-) as it describes Marketing Merge.

    C – compassionate
    A – authentic
    R – rejuvenating
E – educational or excellent or effective or efficacious :-)

  12. Rana, congratulations.

Your story is powerful in the impact Renegade Professional is having not only in your own marketing, but for those you are reaching out to.

It is heart-warming and inspiring to realize that Renegade Professional skills fit your sons’ giftedness. What a wonderful gift you are able to provide for him and his future.

I too look forward to our meet up in Portland. Four more sleeps! :-)

  13. Fantastic Marie, you’re an excellent story teller most of the time I just skim though article posts but this one captured my attention all the way to the end.

  14. Marie,
I just checked out the map and thought “Gee, that area looks kind of familiar.” My father and I used to travel to the Rouyn-Noranda area to go fishing when I was younger. We wouldn’t see anybody else the entire time we were there. Just bears and moose.

  15. It’s happening, we are here!!!

It is amazing to meet face to face with the friends, “heroes” who mentor and teach us.

The sound of the meeting rooms is a buzz of sound as friends meet up with each other and meet new friends.

Plan for 2011 to be here.
    :-)

  16. @Marie
I have already had the incredible experience of being at the receiving end of your generosity. And you don’t know me from Adam! Congratulations Marie, that article is obviously a winner. I believe I am a fan for life.

    @Angela
Hi there Marketing Guru! I didn’t know you have 100 odd videos out there! You inspire me to go back to my tutorials! Congrats!

    @Dotty
You’re driving home the same point. Hit the tutorials! And Congratulations.

    @Rana
Your story touched home for me. I want to help the less fortunate make a living! I know one mother who has 2 (yes you read right, TWO) autistic children. Another intelligent 35 year old who is the kindest soul ever) has been shortchanged from living a decent life because she has epilepsy. And a fourth graduate who cannot get a decent job because he is wheelchair bound! Wouldn’t it be grand to give them something that would give them a decent source of income.

Thanks for all the inspiring stories. Gosh I really missed out by not going for the live event.

What People Are Saying...

My upline asked me to lead a small group in developing a lead generation system for our team. Thanks to the knowledge I have gained through Renegade Professional, I was able to guide them through the process of setting up their own HubPages, Squidoo lenses, and blog posts. In addition, they are now back-link-building experts, so that our page is #2 on Yahoo for an extremely competitive search phrase, generating multiple leads on a daily basis.
