It’s the ULTIMATE success story.
Please listen carefully to Curt Johnson as well, knowing he’s been a successful coach and businessman for years. Curt was Ann Sieg’s coach not so long ago before she discovered her own voice and brand. He’s also her upline!
I’ll be sharing more details with you as I get them.

Mike,
Doubt is an interesting word and it’s important that you have used your doubt to reflect. Doubt might often be confused with ‘fear’ and they are far different.
As you said, you used your doubt as a trigger to reflect further and what you discovered was a deeper trust in yourself. This is so important as many of us don’t trust ourselves enough.
Your authenticity comes through and its because of this that so many people have come to know, trust and believe in you.
Like attracts like. So when you give us examples of people like Claire and Curt…how could they be anything but authentic?
Coaching Cognition will be an excellent platform for those people who have ‘kept their light under a barrel’. They will shine ever so brightly and help so many others along the way.

Hi Mike,
I love what you said about ‘being authentic’ and ‘loving what you do’. There is definitely a struggle in process of finding your authentic self as well as your own unique brand in business.
However like you have put is so nicely the ultimate success is being able to be your authentic self, love what you do, give value to others as well as receiving value from others.
The coaching cognition program will be a place to experience all of those things and more. I have had the privilege of being coached by one of the coaching cognition coaches Eric Walker. It was a great experience.
I know if people are willing and ready to take their business to the next step working with a coach will help them become empowered personally and in their business building efforts.
I am also interested in becoming a coach with Coaching Cognition and am very excited about the program. Hearing the testimonials from others and their experience of taking the course is extremely encouraging.
Thanks to you and Barbara Silva for providing this wonderful opportunity.
kind regards,
Ness,

Hi Mike,
I really loved this article and related to it on a number of levels. At the moment it seems people are fairly jaded by big launches but I doubt that people will ever get jaded by excellent service and the feeling that they are genuinely cared for.
Perhaps your way is not the way to get quick results but I’m sure they’ll be long lasting.
I built my acupuncture clinic one relationship at a time. I never advertised, never did any sort of marketing, and never even did any follow up… I just CONNECTED with each person as they came in and soon enough I had a busy clinic.
I’m certain if my focus was to implement a formula for building a clinic rather than the relationships being first and foremost my clinic would not have grown the way that it did.
Interestingly, I recently went through a period that was emotionally taxing and that meant that I was not connecting with my patients as I normally would and I noticed the difference in my business. As I started to feel better I immediately started to CONNECT with people and referrals started flooding back in… immediately.
I feel that the kind of business that comes from referrals due to happy clients brings with it good karma that can not be achieved through marketing, from my experience these are the best people to work with.
I love marketing and appreciate it’s power and importance in business but I also believe unless a business is built on the bedrock of CARING for the people that actually make being business possible (customers and clients) than marketing isn’t worth much at all.
Your insights and genuineness are always a breath of fresh air.

I’m deeply touched by what you have written in this post Mike. So much so that I am very close to tears.
I read your ‘Finding the only shortcut…’ post and the Essential List, which I now have printed out and reflect upon daily. In that post your story conveyed so powerfully how The List emerged out of your own struggles and experiences.
When I read your latest email a few moments ago I could hardly believe that you were writing about a process that I have been going through for a while now. I have been in that space of ‘self-doubt’, searching for my ‘voice’, the Brand of Me. It’s a lonely space to be in and having someone else suddenly reach out and say “I’ve been there too” – well, it nearly done me in! The tears whelmed up because I knew you ‘understood’ what it was like to be in that space.
My self-doubt emerged as I was creating my website. Finally, against the advice ‘don’t keep tinkering…move on’ I took down all the pages I’d written & took two-thirds off my homepage. I knew it was the right thing to do. And then, once I’d cleared the decks, my ‘look and feel’ began to emerge and then ‘my voice’. As you say ‘doubt and trust’. I had to trust that I would recognize ‘my voice’ when I finally heard it – that I would know my ‘look and feel’ when I finally saw it.
Being a member of Renegade Breakthrough and Renegade Pro has been such an amazing, joyful experience for me. It is an experience in which I am constantly touched by the honesty and ‘giving’ that is conveyed by everyone involved with Renegade. I recently read DiDi’s post on Better Networker where she shares her experiences after reading The List. Her beauty, both inside and out, shines forth and warms us all.
My deepest thanks to you all for being who you are and sharing that with us all.

It’s a shame that internet marketing beginners fall for systems that seduce by promising “easy, fast and simple”. I was no different.
But a system can only take you so far. There is a point when you need to actually talk to your prospect.
A lot of people are afraid to do this and they hide behind the system. What they don’t really understand is that fear can be overcome just by learning the skill one needs to talk with confidence and posture.
That’s why I’m really looking forward to the Coaching Cognition course, so I can learn the skills I need to be more effective in my interactions with people and especially those that seek help from me.
I really appreciate your honesty and “realness” Mike as this helps me to realize that “yes” I can also do it. Mike did and still does!

Doubt vs. Trust – This is actually a topic I want to develop in our coaching training.
Often, we place negative or positive values on something and leave it at that. At first glance, doubt would be a negative and trust the positive.
But as you pointed out here, doubt can serve it’s purpose. It made you stop, reflect, and get clear on what you were doing before plunging in.
As coaches, we help our clients to examine both the positives and the negatives. If we are experiencing an emotion, like doubt, it’s good to find out exactly why it is there. Doubt, in this case, didn’t mean you were on the wrong track. But it caused you to focus on what it was you really wanted to do and why you wanted to do it. That’s powerful.
I shudder to think of the loss to us all if you had not taken the time to understand this. Some people experience doubt and use it as a reason to quit. Thank goodness, you didn’t.
Trust is a good thing…so long as it has been authentically earned. We’ve all trusted someone or something and found the trust had been misplaced.
You build trust – for me that is your brand – precisely because of what you have done in this article. You don’t just go out and “sell.” You share your process, your thinking and your goals.
Coaching Cognition has grown out of the trust that developed between you and I. You inspire me every day!

Mike,
Gosh, I’ve a true awakening this week, though I don’t know why it has taken me 6 months to “get it”. As a result of your previous post, I’ve been revamping my blog to reflect a place where marketers can get good information, rather than focusing on telling them all about my products and business opportunity. This post was right-on with the timing for me. Thank you so much for your insight, wisdom and honesty!

Thank you Mike!
You clearly speak from within – who you really are. That means more to me than any marketing strategy or tactic out there. I have a tendency to question myself (doubt), and also the intent of others.
Every time I read your emails or hear you speak on videos and tutorials I know that it is you I’m listening to – the real you – the person who clearly likes helping others. For me, that creates trust. So I can feel, now more than ever, the importance of coaching – coaching with heart. Even from the printed word it creates a connection that is truly exciting.
And it is also clear that you attract people who are of the same heart like Barbara Silva and the Marketing Merge Team. Being a member of Renegade Professionals has brought me to a place of knowing I can build a business that fits me.
I’m sure I would seriously benefit from the Coaching Cognition program. Even though I’m still progressing through the action guide, is this program something to consider now?

Mike,
Having read your article I feel that it is your authenticity, thought, and speculation that has made both you and Ann a success. The so called “formulas” are just that: formulas, with no heart or soul. Personally I shut down when I receive them, and rarely read them through. I may not be a “successful” business woman as yet, but it has been through my soul searching that your system resonates with me. I have received numerous emails and marketing program sales pitches but there has to be the authenticity and personal emotion behind the words. Don’t lose the feelings you have, they are there for a reason. Success comes in its time to those who remain true to themselves.Comment by Wendy MacKay — September 30, 2009 @ 10:35 am

Mike,
It’s so “you” the way you describe the conflicting formula of doubt and trust.
I really never thought about how they work together to help us make our best decisions. Again, it’s this type of insight that helps us move forward and trust our own instincts and find what works for us, not someone else.I’ll just add, as one of Coaching Cognition’s new coaches, it’s that little bit of helpful doubt that makes me strive to be a better coach and not just rely on what I already know, even though I totally trust my decision and the path I’ve chosen.

Doubt + Trust = Personal Discovery and Greater Levels of Ultimate Success
Well, Mike, you’ve hit the nail on the head again. You are definitely in your power as a mentor and business coach/trainer.
You well know the ebbs and flow of self doubt I have journeyed through. I am finding a centre of strength and absolutely looking forward to working with Barbara and Coaching Cognition to build that out.
Long ago, I learned to trust you. When the systems failed, you didn’t. The kind of authenticity you demonstrate here is a common thread through the years. I think you are spot on listening to your gut in regards to the marketing process that will work best for you.

Julie – developing coaching skills will help with your marketing and customer relationships even if you are not yet ready to actually become a coach at this point.
For me, I knew coaching was what I wanted to do because of my lifelong love of helping people in this particular way. Follow both your heart and your “gut.” They will tell you what is the best timing for you!

Barbara,
Thanks, that answers my question. Helping and interacting with people is an important and exciting part of the business I want to create. I know listening is important, but I also know it’s much more than that and I don’t have much experience from a business standpoint.
You are right. For the last two years I have been learning to listen more closely to my heart and gut – that inner knowing – and it has served me well. Things just seem to fall into place and I am now learning skills I never thought I would be learning. When I saw your webinars on coaching I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It feels both exciting and a little scary. It is obvious to me that it is of great value.
Thank you

Several Responses in Reading this…
“- Loving what you do”
- While the good money flows inward
- And the value you offer flows out”Yes, and I think I would add: “loving what you do and why
you do it.” And you’ve reflected here and elsewhere you
desire to help others as a major motivating factor. In other words, a true heart-felt “why” can motivate us in
so many areas. Like, for example, from your “why” for
sharing the emails and moving forward with Coaching
Cognition.“I’d allow the ‘marketing’ to unfold on its own
spontaneously.”I took that as flowing from your “why” and, frankly, loved
reading it.“Instead, I focus on CONNECTING with people who really need
what we offer but just don’t know it yet, and then on
effectively COMMUNICATING what we offer so they totally
‘get’ it.”Yes, in fact I appreciated listening to Dean Caporella
yesterday relative to having the perspective of the other
person in mind while writing articles. Again, viewing things
from the needs, wants and desires of the other person –
along with my heart’s desire to truly meet those needs –
and then communicating my heart whether in a written format
like an article or a series of emails. Neat blend! On another point…
You mentioned Claire’s “authenticity” in her talk. Yes,
actually I took that in last evening and thought the same
thing. Simple, straight forward communication from one
person to another sharing how Barbara has helped her.Now there’s a “talking point” for anyone:
1. Simple.
2. Straight forward.
3. Sincere.(I feel an article coming on, lol!)
In fact, I went from listening there to Claire to one of her
training videos in Renegade Pro.And, of course, Barbara has already been a real
encouragement and help to me as I travel along this
“attraction marketing path.” A definite “Go-Giver.”Thanks for sharing these, Mike. I’ve already made a file
for this one and “the essential list” one in recent days. I
plan to review them again.I hope you all are able to assist many in reaching their dreams,
Lee

What a benefit to have the payment stream handled by the back office of Marketing Merge.
How much simpler can it get than that for both parties?

My baby daughter was there.
I was there.
If only I knew then, what I know now.
But who hasn’t said that before?
I remember my mentality back then…
“I ‘gotta’ make this work.”
And judging by my circumstances I was right.
It was an all-too familiar and uncomfortable condition for me in business back then.
I hadn’t yet learned about the only REAL shortcut that exists.
I Chased Rainbows.
Little did I know that the pot of gold was in my own backyard.
What a stubborn one I can be.
That stubbornness has served me in one way at least (never, ever quite–right?)
But it has also cost me dearly, with a mentality that seemed to say–
“No, not me… I don’t have to work on my listening and communication skills, or learn how to lead. I’ll find a much easier way to succeed than THAT.”
If only I knew how hard that would be, trying to find the EASY way.
Because…
Looking for the “Easy Way” is the Hardest Way of All.
And, you could say…
What Most People Think to be the “Hard Way” is Actually the “Easiest”.
I read personal development books.
I went to leadership trainings.
But I never made it my #1 thing–not back then. I just thought I did at the time.
There I was at 30 years old with my six-month old daughter in my lap.
Chasing the dream from home.
Barely making enough to make ends meet.
I’d made more (much more) from home before that. But then it had shriveled.
I’d worked hard before… real hard.
And then after burning out–after working like a mad-man from age 22 to 27 (chasing all the bogus shortcuts most people still chase), I “checked out” for about two years as soon as the income was high enough.
–Burn Out–
I played catch-up on life.
The color returned to my face.
I smiled more without trying to.
I started a family.
I caught up on what I had been missing while ‘building the dream.’
But then, after watching my income slide back down I found myself in familiar territory…
“I gotta make this thing work!”
So I was working feverishly again… and had been for about a year since returning from world travels, reflection, and a bout with getting healthy and fit (I had needed to do that after the 5 year focused business effort).
I was really stressed out–working, working…
Trying…
Sitting with my six month old daughter beside me, trying to find the ’shortcut’ again. Trying to live up to my ‘big words’ to family and friends, most of whom had forgotten I was a winner.
Trying to justify my commitment to succeed.
The Million Dollar Chapter Comes…
But within a year from that challenging time, I had figured a piece of it out (the marketing part) and I started attracting business in a BIG way… though I still hadn’t learned how to keep it. I had to go through a very labor intensive learning process because I was still looking for shortcuts in all the wrong places.
By age 31, I had attracted over a million dollars to my new company within the first month of launch and had people joining my networking business before I even had time to make the first follow-up phone call. That was 6 years ago.
It was nice, though there was still plenty of stumbling (as I was still learning what I’ll share with you today).
It was actually quite rough… but it WAS a great experience because it forced me to finally–eventually– realize and take the only REAL shortcut that exists… the very thing I was avoiding the entire time because I thought it would be harder, when it was actually much, much easier.
If only I was getting emails like this.
Fast forward 6 years, I now head up a growing multi-million dollar enterprise. Solid, stable, growing incredibly fast. Enjoyable. In alignment with my values and intentions.
From struggle to now business bliss, I have learned and lived the only REAL short-cut there is, and how to get people to not just stand in line to join my business… and not just stay… but to duplicate in ways that extend far beyond what I imagined possible.
Finding the REAL Short-Cut… And Taking It.
I have always looked for the shortcuts, which would have been great, if only I was looking in the right place.
In my earlier years in business, I was constantly trying to use some new system to generate leads for me. Or to ‘qualify’ them for me. I even worked hard to create such systems.
Its not that there wasn’t value in what I was doing, and in qualifying prospects and using systems to help–that IS a small part of the equation. But this aspect of it is SECONDARY to what is most critical for one’s success.
Here’s the “Essential List” most avoid making their #1 priority in business:
Focus on Developing…
* A Keen insight
* An ability to influence others
* An ability to choose the right opportunities for you
* An ability to create and communicate value
* An ability to attract people to you through networking and marketing
* An ability to inspire others by truly connecting with them, by listening
* An ability to cultivate partnerships
You CAN develop these things rather quickly, but only if you make that your main aim.
The list is so alien when you’re not ready.
Its like hocus pocus.
It might even be scary.
It makes success seem really far away. But that’s only if you’re not ready to take responsibility for it.
The truth is that when you look at this essential list square in the face, that’s when success gets close.
That’s when you’re getting warmer.
Then, if you don’t take your eyes off this list… that’s when you get hot.
Attractive Marketer Hot.
Doing so puts your butt on the shortcut… The only REAL shortcut you’ll ever find.
I Wasn’t Ready…
I wasn’t ready to look until I had worked so hard for so long trying to bypass ‘the list’ of essentials, that I finally just stumbled into it here and there, over time… over a long period of painstaking time because I didn’t know it was IT.
I thought it was just “part” of it.
Somehow I had exhausted everything else and I just decided to focus only on that list for a while… that was about 3 years ago.
I buckled down on ONLY it.
I connected with the right coaching, training and people and developed my skills (the essential list) as QUICKLY AS I POSSIBLE COULD.
I did it because I had to. I was exhausted. It was that or admit failure. And that’s not me.
This is where my stubbornness helped.
And maybe its why I relate so well with the majority out there who struggle… because I was on that path with such intense determination for so long, avoiding the essential list just like most do.
My Point In All This?
My message to you is that it doesn’t have to take you as long to find IT as it took me.
It took me a long time because I was stubborn in believing the B.S. because I wanted to believe it, just like many people reading this want to believe that a system is the answer.. and not you. You don’t want to follow through on this advice because you’re like I was… you’re where I was.
But some of you will move on it. And that’s who I’m talking to here.
Don’t get me wrong…
The vehicles you use (the opportunities, systems, etc) ARE important obviously… but they are motionless without the list of essentials above.
Like pushing a car uphill versus stepping on the gas and zipping down it. That’s what I’m taking about.
I’m talking about finally being able to navigate yourself from where you are to where you want to be with absolute control, safety, comfort and EASE. Every time with ANY system.
And…
I’m talking about accomplishing everything you want FASTER by making it your #1 intention to focus on the essential list.
Are you ready for that?
You are already addressing some of this if you’re moving through the Start Here Checklist in your Renegade Professional back office.
But are you consciously addressing the entire list head on?
Is it your #1 aim?
There are 5 things we’ll be introducing to you over the course of this fall and winter. You’ve likely heard about some of them already. Mysuggestion is to study what they offer you.
They are:
1. Coaching Cognition
2. The Live Event in January
3. Super Guides Training & Collaboration Program
4. PBN (Becoming a Trainer for the Professionals, Businesses and Non-profits section of Renegade Professional)
5. Renegade Professional News — Pay close attention to the students who grow in this community. Connect with them. Know them.
Infuse yourself into the leadership here.
First, see how others are developing their brand & gaining exposure by closely aligning with this open community… then follow in their footsteps.
We’re creating an ever-expanding economy here that you can take part in.
Pay close attention to these 5 development opportunities over the coming weeks and months–each is designed to help you attack the “essential list” and take the only REAL shortcut there is.
Take a moment right now to learn a little more about each of those 5 collaborative opportunities by clicking on the links above.
Success doesn’t have to be hard.
But it will be if you don’t take a very proactive stance to attack your essential list head on.
Here it is again:
You Must Have…
* A Keen Insight.
* An ability to influence others
* An ability to choose the right opportunities for you
* An ability to create and communicate value
* An ability to attract people to you through networking and marketing
* An ability to cultivate partnerships
You have to initiate all this.
It’s all on you and it always will be.
But the people and assistance is here if you’re ready for it.
Partners in success,
Mike Klingler

Great article Mike,
What I Love About You Mike is How You Have Helped our Family
I’ve been more of the supportive one – supporting Eric Walker, my fiance, and helping him build his business (credibility and influence).
I have been the one quietly looking over his shoulder. I have been the one whispering in his ear, and I have been the one with a listening ear during those “truth moments” when he’s feeling worn out or between a rock and a hard place – those “crossroads” moments as we call them.
And through it all, you’ve been there with us.
And THIS has made it a short cut for us.
Eric is a natural teacher (like you), but he doesn’t have 14 years of business experience that has created gobs of wisdom. But what he does have is — what he’s always been smart about — is studying what you do, listening closely to what you say and model…etc.
So, when you highlight this essential list…
A Keen Insight.
An ability to influence others
An ability to choose the right opportunities for you
An ability to create and communicate value
An ability to attract people to you through networking and marketing
An ability to cultivate partnerships…I feel like you’re bringing EVERYTHING home that Eric has been working toward for the previous 14 months (14 months as opposed to 14 years – Now that IS a short cut!).
And the beautiful thing about this is that because I’ve always looked over his shoulder, I’ve been attracted to your teachings as well, and I’ve picked up on things that maybe Eric hasn’t or have seen things from a different perspective.
Not only do I get to tuck that under my belt, but I can also teach Eric what I see. And there have been a good number of times when my insight has helped Eric tremendously also.
Do you see how this has helped our family! I have to think that the family I see forming in the Renegade Professional community can be just as influential under the roof of all the families – husbands and wives and children! It makes so much sense, both in business and life.
I’ve enjoyed a lot of your articles, Mike, but this stands as my favorite – never have I heard your voice come ringing out so clearly.
Thank you for all that you do. I can’t wait to meet you next week!

If I knew half of what I’m learning from you guys 11 years ago, it would have certainly saved a ton. However I won’t look back, but will move forward with what I’m learning and apply it too.

Mike,
One person I have seen following you who truly embraces these principles is Barbara Silva. Not only do I consider her a great coach, mentor and friend, but she is a shining example of someone who has followed your wisdom, as laid out above, and applied it in a way that makes sense for her. The result is a new service which I believe has the potential to revolutionize the coaching industry.
I started following Mike around the same time Barbara did, I believe, and he affected me in a similar way. At some point, his wisdom really started to sink in. I stopped chasing the rainbows and started to wonder…could I MAKE MY OWN RAINBOWS? It seemed crazy at the time, but I started to believe in myself more and more, through the feedback and encouragement from members of this great community of people I was learning with. I started to really “GET” where all this was headed, and started to see myself as taking an active role in the movement. Not just going along for the ride, but taking a turn at the wheel. I started to realize I could do more than make money in this industry; I could make a DIFFERENCE.
Now I am working on my own business concept, which, like Barbara’s, builds on the concepts that visionaries like you and others have already laid out. I believe my concept will help to move the industry forward and help it gain more widespread acceptance.
My greatest wish of all, though? That someone finds my business, taps into all the resources like what Barbara, Mike, Ann and others have developed, and then develops their OWN improvements, to help others and improve this industry, this economy, and this world we live in.
Critics of people like you and Ann say that what you do isn’t duplicatable. I disagree, and say what you are starting to see is evidence to the contrary. True, you aren’t seeing cookie-cutter clones plugging in to the easy-to-follow systems that “guarantee” success. What you are seeing, though, are people focusing on those items on the list Mike just posted to create their own path to the end of their own rainbow, and all the success that comes with it, not just a pot of gold. What you are starting to see are people duplicating what really matters.

The Essentials list is evidenced in Mike Klingler’s life. His story sums his journey to discovery of these truths and Mikes’ business, Marketing Merge and Renegade Professional is now testamony to the reality.
- An ability to influence others
– An ability to choose the right opportunities for you
– An ability to create and communicate value
– An ability to attract people to you through networking and marketing
– An ability to cultivate partnershipsI have decided that Mike Klingler is the trainer/mentor that I am focusing on. I have learned over the years of working with him in some of those hard times that his integrity, giving work ethic is steadfast.
@Eric comments: “Deep value is making this realization … if you’re not solving people’s problems or giving them what THEY want, you’re not in business. This is why you see people who’ve been at this internet attraction marketing thing for so long, and haven’t gotten any results.
You have to figure out:
1). What you love i.e. what you want your business to be, and
2) How you can make that your business – in this case, the term “business” is giving people what they want, and at the same time, being really passionate about giving that to people.
This is how you become an expert.
And to be successful in anything, you have to be nothing short of an expert.”
Mike has become an expert because he is doing what he loves and has found a way to solve problems in a niche market.
Being a part of Renegade Professional and Marketing Merge pushes me to discover much about myself.I certainly know that I am more of an ” expert” now than I ever was outside this training centre.
I look forward to becoming all that I can be. To giving to others all that I can and take joy in that.
Thanks Mike for being steadfast, Pat

Chasing My Rainbow
You’ve done it again, Mike. Taken something so personal to you and shared it with everyone. I guess that’s why I feel like I’ve known you for a long time!
I can so relate to the stubborness you describe. So many times, I have chased a dream only to find out it wasn’t my dream. What makes perfect sense to me at this stage of my life is to grab hold of the opportunities that are right for ME!!
Being a mom, wife and nurturer by nature, I find I too often compromise myself and this ends up being no fun for me or my family. Not any longer. I am keeping my eye on this list you have so eloquently put out there for the community. It’s a great list that I read to begin my day and the last thing I read before retiring.
It takes confidence, perseverance and the ability to learn from prior mishaps to become a better person and marketer. I think I’m ready to take that next step and ready to have others follow!
Lead by example, Mike, and you have set a wonderful example for the rest of us.

Hi Mike:
Great article and one point I noticed is that you stated “I Wasn’t Ready…”. Many of us were not ready either, and then one day something clicked and we saw that we had to change if we wanted to really be successful. Hopefully your article will cause people to take note and see if they are ready.

Mike,
Wow! This article truly said it all, “Chasing Rainbows”. I don’t know what it is but I think we are all wired up for the “short cut.” Only to find out much later in life there is no such thing as a “short cut.”
Everything is based on what you said:
* A Keen Insight.
* An ability to influence others
* An ability to choose the right opportunities for you
* An ability to create and communicate value
* An ability to attract people to you through networking and marketing
* An ability to cultivate partnershipsAnd once that’s found, the moment arises. And the story is told…
Thanks, Mike for sharing and opening your heart…

Mike, You found what you love to do and the money is coming back to you…the pieces are coming into balance. I, too, believe, that it was keen insight, and choosing the right opportunity for that started me on the path to create and communicate value for that opportunity.
Now continuing to develop the 3 essentials: to influence others, attract people to them through networking and marketing and partnerships are the next ones to concentrate on in a stronger fashion.
Thanks for these reminders of your success, Mike.

Mike, you have away with words that paints a picture of success. Many who go into the home business industry think if they have the right product or service that people need, they’ll make money.
The essential element to success that you listed, didn’t come naturally…. No matter what business we
are in there will always be a competitor, otherwise
the likely hood there isn’t a market. Even the other people in ones MLM are your competitors. Thanks for reminding us of the essential that we must continue to develop and improve on.

You’ve build your reputation by exemplifying everything that you propose in this article. Essentials Eliminate Overwhelm
Mike,
As usual you put your heart and soul into everything you write and do and what’s even more special is that you do it more for others than yourself.Your ‘Essentials’ list is so focused that it can and will help those of us who often spend much of the time in the land of ‘overwhelm’.
It is a laser beam which points to those things that are most important to the success of anyone’s business.
Thanks again for helping me to focus my laser beam on what is truly important and which will serve up success.

Well put, Mike. And so many great comments from others too.
Lane talks about the right way to put the ideas into action and ‘live it’ (in his comments above). He is building out his own business concept, not just for personal gain, but with the desire to make a difference and help others. What a perfect example of someone that gets it, implements it; he’s “duplicating what really matters”.
***
When I look back on my own path, I realize that chasing shortcuts was such an expensive approach. I needed money, so I spent money on the latest, greatest, super-shortcut that promised quick, easy cash.
No quick, no easy, no cash … just less money. The worst part is that I was most susceptible to buying another shortcut when I really needed the money and could least afford to waste it!
But the most expensive thing about shortcuts is that you are buying a ‘rainbow to nowhere’. Not only is there no pot of gold at the end, but it takes you off course.
Time. That is a much bigger expensive from chasing rainbows and taking shortcuts than actual dollars spent. Nothing to show for the efforts, AND I’ve got to take the time to get back on the right track before I can even start to make progress. The opportunity cost is tremendous.
You’ve hit all the right buttons with this one, Mike. Continuous investment in myself, my skills, and my focus on connecting with and helping others – it’s the right way, and the quickest way, to success.
“Little did I know that the pot of gold was in my own backyard.”

I’ve read through this article a few times and the Essential List captured my attention each time. So much so, I copied it down and pinned it up near my desk.
Also, the article rings so true for so many of us. Some of us have harder heads than others. I’m convinced it’s the first step toward testing your entrepreneur mettle. After all, if your determination and commitment is there, you will bust through this, too.
And, of couse, Mike, your humaness shows through, as it always does. Your commitment to go-giving is something to strive for.
Glad to be on your team.

Hi Mike,
Your post really hit home with me, like a laser beam shot to the head and heart. You basically went through my story and you gave me insight into the path that I am on. And that path is the “before” path of your story. As I have learned from you in the past year there have been moments when the cobwebs and smoke have been swept away and I see the vision. This article was one of them. Thanks for sharing this as it will really help me moving forward.

Chasing rainbows are for those that really don’t know themselves.
And yes, we have all been there at one point in our lives.
Rainbows are still attractive but life experience and knowing who we are inside reveals the emptiness of chasing after them. That’s why when opportunities come along that will help me grow as a person, I take that path and I see that Mike has done the same in the past and still does.
I am making my own rainbow now and the pot of gold at the end will be the fruits of my labor.

Hi Mike,
Thank you so much for your insights. You have brought me back to some reality. With the entire internet marketing venue being so new to me, I think that I did not include my own values in what I was trying to create. For instance, I am at that point of completing my blog and website, both. I put in my SOS call to my Renegade coach as recently as last night because of confusion. Your article has brought me back to where I really wanted to start.
I retired as a high school principal last year. People would be astounded when I would bring in product after product into our district principals’ meetings to help the other 20 high schools with interventions for kids. My own staff, who worked for years on interventions to help all students, could not believe I would give all of “our secrets of success” to our other highs schools. My reply would be, “Shame on us if we have this information and don’t share this with other schools, with the result of helping all students.”
Well, you brought me back to why I stayed in education for so long . . . making a difference. I strayed from my initial thoughts of giving value and making a difference, as Lane described, and forgot this part in my new venture. Now I can go back to square one, begin again (with having learned a great deal of the technical aspects from the tutorials already) and really try to help others. That is what it is all about.
Your heartfelt discussion is the catalyst that I needed and it could not have come at a better time for me. I imagine, though, when a person reads something so sincere and meaningful, it is always seems that it was the best time!Comment by Phyllis Emrich — September 30, 2009 @ 6:58 am

Wow! How grateful I am to have come across this community.
Jim Rohn has always said, “work harder on yourself than you do on your job”.
Mike just gave us key areas to do this that will make all the difference.
I was blown away by the article, but then, as I read the comments, I realized that each person was stacking value, upon value, upon value.
Thanks to everyone for the abundance mentality that is so prevalent in this community.
“I’ve gotta make this work”…That’s how I feel right now.
I think that all of us have felt that way at one point or another.
That’s why we tend to chase rainbows. Because we’re desperately seeking that “shortcut”.
That “one thing” that will make all the difference, never realizing that it’s right under our nose.
Here’s to the success of each person that so desperately wants and needs it.
Here’s to preaching the truth…that each of us, are capable of “creating rainbows”.
I think, duplication, real duplication, only happens as fast as we realize this for ourselves and then help others within our teams to realize the same truth.
It’s not an easy process. But it’s worth it.

Hi Mike,
I love this piece you’ve written because it is such a motivating piece.It makes me feel like I’m not the only one going through a rough time and that rough times help to bring you back to the core essentials of business. In fact, now I have a better perception of what I should entirely focus on, which are;
* A keen Insight.
* An ability to influence others.
* An ability to choose the right opportunities for you.
* An ability to create and communicate value.
* An ability to attract people to you through networking and marketing.
* An ability to cultivate partnerships. This is the definitely the mantra of succeeding online.
Instinctively this has been my mentality especially in the 4 months I have been with the Renegade Professional. I strongly believe in the Renegade Professional and I strongly believe I am attaining success (almost like I can touch it).
Also, a formula that keeps ringing in my head is one you so passionately teach, which is this;
Training + Little Action = Nothing
A lot of Action + Little Training = Frustration
A Balance of Training + Consistent Action = Massive Predictable “effortless” Success
Thank for all your support Mike.

Thank you Mike, you are 24h a day present in my head. You are sharing rainbows, false shortcuts and burn-outs with us and many of us do identify with your story. You are sharing the Nº1 Essentials List with us which we will take by heart and follow. But how will we ever be able to create the link between business and the thoroughly human touch you are bringing into it ? That will be the real short cut we will have to find for ourselves.

I briefly read this the first time. I came back to it again several times. This time It hit my heart. I have been focusing on learning the essential list the last month. Here are the words to show I’m on the right path. I went to the Get Motivated seminar last week which was amazing! I saw short cuts and when I really thought about it I realized there is no short cut. You have been saying that since I have been reading your emails the last year. Thank you for all you do Mike.

Hi Mike,
In part of your article you said: ” I wasn’t ready to look! ” Such depth of meaning and so true for so many of us, ME included.I thought that if I I kept going over and over the trainings I would GET IT but I was left wondering what I was doing wrong when nothing was happening. Why weren’t things happening for me when I was such an admirer and follower of Mike’s wonderful system.
Finally, finally the penny has dropped and the Essential List will now be my bible . These are things that many of us know and have probably used in other jobs but for some reason we put them in the back of our minds so our work becomes SOULESS and we forget to work on ourselves.
That is where I found myself to be.
This is a real wake up call. Here is my bible for the future and the skills I must now hone.
- An ability to influence others
– An ability to choose the right opportunities for you
– An ability to create and communicate value
– An ability to attract people to you through networking and marketing
– An ability to cultivate partnershipsWhen we all get these essentials ingrained in our hearts and minds the world will truly be our oyster and a better place to live.
All thanks to Super man – Mike Klingler

Hi Mike,
I’ve come back to this post several times and each time it has a little more meaning for me in the context of what I am learning each day.
For example, it’s no accident that you choose the word ‘Focus’ when you introduce the ‘essential list’.
Like most people, I am not good at multi-tasking.
It seems to me that I should focus on ‘listening’ (both to my intuition and my target audience) and only then offer value to the best of my ability.
In the past, I have tried to force the pace of my progress instead of following my intuition.
I have listened to my inner chatter, instead of listening to the person I am talking to.
I have not offered sufficient value before asking for value in return.
I have tried to do it all myself without cultivating partnerships.
We learn all these things the hard way, until someone like you points out the obvious path ahead.
Thanks for these valuable ‘insights’ or should I say ‘essentials’!

You Can Be a Renegade Professional Super Guide, Here’s How – Official Super Guide Document
“Be willing to develop your skills and you will climb the ladder of success. Success is defined here as personal satisfaction from your work, more money than you presently think you need, while others who buy from you truly benefit from the exchange.
Try to avoid THIS unavoidable requirement for success (personal and skill development), and you will continue to toil as you seek the duplicatable system that promises to do it for you, or the short cut that only makes your road much longer and harder.
The Super Guide program is a platform to catapult your business and leadership development process through Internet attraction marketing (for your network marketing, coaching or traditional business that you’re taking online).”
-Mike Klingler
The Super Guides program is a grass roots partnership and “collaboration incubation tank” with the Renegade Professional community. It’s also a program that offers several rewards:
- Participate and network with an elite training group that learns by doing and works together. Gain maximum exposure and rise up through the ranks of mediocrity to stand out in both your specific community, as well positioning yourself as a leader within the Renegade Professional community.
- The Super Guides program specializes in ongoing SEO (search engine optimization) training, lead generation, cooperative lead sharing, tangible leadership development and more. This is all about “how to get your Internet content found by prospects” all over the search engines for all kinds of key words.
- We also get deep into strategy (what target markets to aim for) and lead capture use (where to place your lead capture links within your content) to produce optimal lead generating results.
- The Super Guides program provides one on one and small group training and attention on all the aforementioned, so you can apply these things to your own marketing so that you are a good representative of the Super Guide program (leading by example), and continually offer value to your target audience.
- Over time, if you meet certain “indicators of participation, progress and growth,” you will qualify to share in the leads that are generated through the Renegade University system.
- You will receive incredible support from the other Super Guide members. As a Super Guide, you will have a place to come and get questions answered and learn from others in our password secured forum.
- The benefit from the aforementioned rewards of being a Super Guide, you must be a Renegade Professional member to be a Renegade Professional Super Guide. Follow this link to be a Renegade Professional.
You will find a link at the very bottom of this page to collaborate with Renegade Professional as a Super Guide. Although it’s strongly advised you read this document closely to know the exact requirements.
Have You Considered becoming a Coach with Coaching Cognition?
Some Coaching Cognition coaches got their start as Super Guides to springboard their preparedness toward accelerated growth, and ready to learn the exactskills needed to be a Coaching Cognition coach. If you like coaching your leads, prospects, downline, business partners, and customers, you will want to partner with Renegade Professional and the highly recommended Coaching Cognition program.
The Biggest Benefit You Will Gain as a Renegade Professional Super Guide
You will know enough to recognize where you (as well as others) need help, and you will be able to lead and guide yourself as well as others, which is an asset that will NEVER be taken away from you.
So instead of asking yourself or a coach a question like, “Can you look over all my stuff and see where I’m going wrong…”
Or, “I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.”
You’d instead ask something like, “Could you look over my anchor text and offer some tips on how to optimize this?
Or, “Can we look at where I’ve positioned my lead capture links within my content and talk a little more about the target markets I’m going after… I’d like to see where I might improve my strategy?”
See the difference?
We want you to know where you need help, or at least recognize what areas of your marketing need ‘tweaking’ to move closer and closer to the desired result so when you do seek (or provide) a one-on-one guide, or coaching session, you can maximize your (their) time.
And this subtle but powerful difference is what makes for success in anything you do. It’s also the recipe for confidence, which is the basis for influence, and once you gain traction and influence, you become attractive in the market place. Once you do that, you’ve written your ticket for success.
The Second Biggest Benefit of Becoming a Super Guide – Tangible Leadership Development
Because on the Internet you can never actually own a lead, you just can’t control who people will run into and what lists they get on. Trying to control where people end up doesn’t work.
People have access to other marketers, and they will run into these people all throughout the net, the social sites, the lead capture pages, the YouTube videos, etc.
So the key to success is to not try to own your leads because they will end up on many people’s lists anyway, and affiliate links are always getting thrown all around.
In light of this reality, the Super-Guides program is all about giving you a platform to rise up, be that leader others are seeking. That is what attraction marketing is and the Super Guides program can facilitate your ability to succeed and be a leader in every way possible, thus, you grow out of a debilitating scarcity mindset that stunts the growth of so many.
You Know You Want to Be a Renegade Professional Super Guide If…
- You’re a Go-Giver, and you want to assist your rapidly growing and expanding Renegade Professional community. This also includes (leads, prospects, downline, business partners, and customers).
- You want tangible and experiential training in leadership development, and thus, the confidence needed to build an internet business.
- You’re not quite ready to join the Renegade Professional coaching program, but you understand that you want to get on the fast track toward being a paid coach, and have Renegade Professional deliver you coaching clients.
- Elite and personal attraction marketing training that takes the Renegade Professional training a step further all the while clarifying and putting into practice what’s already in the Renegade Professional back office.
You Are Invited to Apply to Be a Renegade Professional Super Guide
You are invited to apply to be a part of this special group, and work closely with the other Super Guide members in an empowering “Joint Venture” setting that will both inspire & challenge you to grow to new levels in your business and leadership.

We’ve also started syndicating videos from Super Guides on YouTube and other locations to create a platform for even more exposure.
Note – If you aren’t a Renegade Professional, and you don’t currently have a Guide, it’s highly recommended that you upgrade to Renegade Professional with a Super Guide as your Guide.
Setting the Stage for Becoming a Super Guide
The last time we allowed new members to join was in the spring of 2009, and before that it was fall 2008.
The Super Guides program has to be grown “in stages” because of our commitment to work closely with you to help you develop your business. It requires a tremendous amount of time, energy and money to support the Super Guides, so we have to make sure we only allow those who are committed long-term to their business, and the Renegade Professional community.
With that said, there have been Super Guides who have served a “season” or two because it was right for them for that moment in time, and their particular development. Similarly, there have been a couple of Super Guides who have left the program because their primary business had grown, and required 110% of their time thus rendering them unavailable to meet Super Guides requirements.
So…let’s prepare you for this…
It’s tough to get in. Out of 100 who applied in the first round last fall 2008, approximately 35 made it in, and to date, less than 15 of those charter members remain in ‘lead rotation’ (Leads are shared including Professional upgrades because of the contribution made to marketing).
Point being – it’s easier to become a Super Guide than it is to remain a Super-Guide in lead rotation; however, there are big advantages regardless of the level you strive for. There will be specific routine tasks as well as special project oriented tasks. That is the exchange for being a part of this program.
For many Super Guides who have diligently stuck with it, and earned their way into lead rotation, some have already made thousands of dollars in affiliate commissions which came from a lead rotation lead.
Once You Become a Super Guide, the Expectation is that You Will Demonstrate “Indicators of Participation, Growth and Progress.” You Either Grow or You Don’t Grow.
What does this mean? Here are some examples…
You are participating in the Super Guides password protected forum area, or at least checking in a few times per week. Your contact information is updated in the Super Guide contact database. You are receiving Super Guide emails, and taking any necessary action as directed in the email.
You are attending the webinars to the best of your ability on a regular basis. These webinars are every other Saturday, and will be held at either 10 a.m. EST or 4 p.m. EST. Keeping your attendance routine is the goal, albeit understandably not 100% possible.
You are actively contributing to one of the Marketing Merge Content blogs, or your specific content section within the blog team, and/or you are actively engaged in a Super Guide project initiative.
You are projecting yourself into the Renegade Community on the “underground” seeking to help one person at a time. If you are in lead rotation, and/or generating your own Renegade University or Professional leads, you are both calling them and following up via email.
You are in constant communication with your fellow Super Guides so as to be on the same page and for the most part understand what other people are up to.
You will understand how to operate Camtasia (or a similar program) to create video, and you will lead or co-lead a webinar for both your fellow Super Guides and the Renegade Community at large.
If some of these things sound like a stretch for you, that’s o.k. because there is no mandate or deadline. The emphasis is on your ability to demonstrate indicators of participation, growth and progress.
How to Qualify for the Super Guides Program – What You Need to Have Completed
First and foremost, you must be a Renegade Professional who has a familiarity with the training in the Renegade Professional back office.
It is very important you read the information below carefully and submit an application showing you have met the criteria required to join. If you submit an application that shows you clearly did not understand the instructions, you will have to wait to apply again when the next group of Super Guides is allowed in.
At the same time, as much as we appreciate your questions, you are expected to OWN this application process without a significant amount of intervention from the Super Guide support desk at Marketing Merge.
What’s even more impressive and characteristic of a potential Super Guide is resourcefulness. There is a saying I had as a 4th, 5th and 8th grade educator; it was “3 Before Me.” If in your process of completing the Super Guide application, you come to a sticking point, try this “3 Before Me” process:
Move on and return to your problem in 24 hours with fresh eyes and thoughts. Continue to try and figure it out for yourself. Please trust in your Renegade Professional back office. For all the answers are there as it applies to becoming a Super Guide. Everything is expected of a Super Guide is grounded in the principles found in your Renegade Professional back office. If it’s a petty kind of thing, don’t get hung up on it, just stand firm in whatever decision you make and go with it.
Seek out another Super Guide to assist you with the application process. Most Super Guides will provide anywhere from 15-45 minutes of their initial time without charge, but anything beyond that will come at a cost, which is at the discretion of the Super Guide.
The Super Guides are encouraged to charge for their time even at minimal prices just to be a part of the Internet Economy (it’s an emotional significance to be able to be a part of this booming Internet Economy). Some will charge as little as $10 per hour, others more.
If still, after employing steps 1 and 2 you need assistance, send an email to Eric@MarketingMerge.com with your query. Be as ultra-specific as possible and expect up to a three day waiting period for a thorough reply.
Criteria You Must Meet to Become a Renegade Professional Super Guide
Again, you must be a Renegade Professional who has a familiarity with the training in the Renegade Professional back office.
The best way to be “ready” to be a Super Guide is to have thoroughly and mindfully gone through the 90 Day Action Guide.
To complete the 90 Day Action Guide will come to be the expectation. Although this doesn’t mean you can’t be a Super Guide having not completed the 90 Day Action Guide.
To be specific, here are the official Super Guide requirements:
You must have at least 30 pieces of content on the web distributed at different locations.
Five Squidoo Lens that are comprised of a minimum of five text and/or video modules
Five Hubpages that are comprised of a minimum of three text and/or video modules
Five Ezine Articles that are each a minimum of 450 words or more
Ten pieces of content at your “Central Hub” whether that be a blog (preferably SquareSpace or WordPress but it’s fine if it’s on another platform), or a website (preferably SBI, but it’s fine if it’s another platform).
This will bring you to 25 pieces of content, and the remaining five must come from “other” locations. Such “other” locations include Youtube.com, BetterNetworker.com, GoArticles.com, ArticlesBase.com, Ehow.com or a plethora of others.
ALL 30 pieces of the content you submit will be properly bookmarked at EACH of three bookmarking locations, and two of those bookmarking locations will be do-follow sites. Be sure to include your login details for the bookmarking sites.
For more information on how to properly bookmark your content (as well as other content that is not your own), it is recommended that that you review the suite of Bookmarking tutorials in the Social Marketing area.
A couple specific tutorials that will assist are the following:
Bookmarking Phase II – Mike Klingler
Social Bookmarking Tips – Diyana Alcheva
You will create 30 incoming links to any of the following Marketing Merge Content Network.
http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Michael_Klingler
http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=M_Klingler
http://www.squidoo.com/lensmasters/MarketMagnet
http://hubpages.com/profile/marketingmerge
http://working-from-home.squarespace.com/
http://agloco-blog.squarespace.com/
http://marketingtraditionalbusinesses.com/
http://networkmarketingsolved.com
http://marketingmerge.com
What we will be looking for here are two important things:
That you are linking with relevance, which means you are linking from a piece of your content to a piece of the Marketing Merge content that makes sense. It highly relates, and for the reader, is a natural place to go and extend the “informational reading experience.”
In this sense, you will “deep link.” Deep linking is NOT simply linking to the main page and calling it good. No, deep linking is … say for example … linking to http://www.networkmarketingsolved.com/social-media-tips/2009/7/18/the-merging-of-seo-and-social-media.html instead of simply linking tohttp://networkmarketingsolved.com But again, what is most important is the “naturalness” and relevance of the linking. We’ll be checking that closely.
With this understanding, please allow yourself the time to get familiar with the Marketing Merge Content Network.
That you are using appropriate anchor text; that you can recognize and make the connection for what keywords and keyword phrases to use when linking to the Marketing Merge Content Network.
For example, let’s use http://www.networkmarketingsolved.com/social-media-tips/2009/7/18/the-merging-of-seo-and-social-media.html again to demonstrate a point.
It should be clear to you that you would use any of the following as anchor text for this article:
Social Media, Social Media Tips, SEO and Social Media, SEO or a few other combinations.
If you submit your excel spreadsheet with the prescribed 30 pieces of required content, and it doesn’t pass all of the requirements, you will receive thorough feedback as to why it didn’t pass. At this time, you will then have an opportunity to make the necessary changes and resubmit your application.
If you submit your excel spreadsheet with the prescribed 30 pieces of required content, and it “passes” the first round of review, you will then have a one on one coaching/review appointment with an experienced Super Guide to demonstrate the following core competencies:
You will have set up your own lead capture pages (at least one) that are properly linked to within your content. Also, be able to demonstrate and talk through your content linking strategy.
Your content will be optimized in such a way that it is obvious which keywords you are trying to reach the search engines with, and evidence will be with the anchor text you are using. This content analysis will also demonstrate that you are knowledgeable of target audience (as taught in “Writing with Pull” and “The 7 Lessons To Attract Prospects To You”).
You will demonstrate that you have set up auto‐email system for the leads you are generating, and this auto-email system must include a minimum of five pre-written emails. Note – even if you aren’t generating any leads yet with your marketing, that’s okay, it’s more about the fact that WHEN you do, you will be set up properly.
Does this seem cumbersome to you? If so, it’s only because you haven’t done it before. What has been highlighted here represents the core components for internet attraction marketing.
By the time you are done applying you will have already moved one step closer from the stage of being a smart beginner to the stage of being an advanced (marketing) intermediate. This is a process (and a program) that forces growth
If you stick with this pursuit, you will be able to duplicate it over and again in any industry; in any niche. This application process makes the process of growth so natural.
Regarding these skills required to become a Super Guide, you may NOT have them yet, that’s okay.
These skills will develop naturally when you follow the application process in a step by step manner, and that is something that will tremendously benefit your business – even if you are not accepted into the Super Guide program on your first try.
You may find it helpful to use Coaching Cognition to coach you through this Super Guide application, and nurture you along so you are confident with many of these skills and tasks.
Notice of Acceptance into the Elite Super Guide Program
If you are accepted into the Super Guides program, you will receive an email notification and a phone call from one of our welcoming Super Guides. That Super Guide will be your “buddy guide” and give you all the details you need to know to fit in, understand and grow as a Renegade Professional Super Guide.
Application are SOFT deadlines, but aim for these dates: October 22, 2009; January 2, 2009; and March 2, 2010
Want help meeting these requirements, get a trained coach that will instruct you, and point out the Renegade Professional training tutorials that will teach you how to be ready to be a Super Guide.

Eric,
Thanks for the incredible detail here. I ran across Steve Anderson during the Renegade Professional launch, and learned what it means to be a Super Guide. Steve was (and continues to be) incredible gracious and generous with his time.
The opportunity to join ranks with him, and others like Lane, etc. is an honor.
I plan to apply – I’m getting my affairs in order.
Mike & Ann, thanks for re-opening the doors.

For those thinking of applying for Super Guides, even though the requirements are tough, being part of this group is very valuable. I’m not talking about the value of lead rotation at all. I’m talking about the value of rising up and presenting yourself to the community and to others as a leader.
Leadership in this industry will get you everywhere. Being a Renegade Professional Super Guide will allow you to assert your leadership. It will give you a wonderful platform from which to help others, and offer valuable content that will reach many who can benefit. Being a Renegade Super Guide is a Go-Giver role. If it’s the right role for you, then go for it!

Success at internet attraction marketing is all about getting the foundation of your business set up correctly and positioning yourself as a leader in your niche.
Entering into and participating in The Renegade Professional Super Guides program will fast track this for you.
Fulfilling the requirements to join the program will insure you have the infrastructure of your business in place and participating with the ongoing efforts of the Super Guides will teach you leadership skills and give you practical examples of how to organize and lead large groups of entrepreneurs toward a common goal. (given the independent nature of most entrepreneurs this is No small feat I assure you).
Congratulations and My best wishes to all who plan to apply. It will be the best thing you’ve done for your business to date (with the exception of joining Renegade Professional in the first place).
When we work together we ALL Succeed!

It was the super guide program that helped me become more targeted on what I really wanted to do. And that was to give value.
It’s a great community to be part of and I no longer feel alone in my little corner of the world. Everyone is just a phone call away and happy to lend a hand anytime I have a problem. That’s what I call community spirit.

Becoming a part of the super guides program at the Renegade Professional will really accentuate who you are definitively. I mean to a point where you recognize the transformation of yourself and your business. Something that’s hard to do by yourself.
So, if your looking to accentuate yourself, I encourage you to become s super guide. Because program is definitely like know other.
I truly love the program!
Thanks Mike,

Personally, I think the steps of action to become a Super Guide reflect the excellence reflected in the program as a whole. In fact, as I was again reading through the specifics that must be done last evening, I mentioned just that to my wife.
Thanks for the information, challenge and opportunity.

Eric,
Good detail and information about the Super Guides program, and especially about the benefits. Some of the most valuable benefits of being a Super Guide are not easily quantifiable, but they are easily visible.
The leadership qualities and Go Giver spirit is obvious in the whole group.
Deborah mentioned ‘a platform from which to help others’.
Shelley mentioned ‘ability to organize and lead large groups of entrepreneurs’.Anyone thinking about joining – remember, the skill set you develop and the friends you make are yours to keep!
And Linda – it is good to see people active in “Law of Attraction” based businesses. I assure you, the philosophy is consistent and complementary with Super Guides approach.
Good luck to everyone planning to join in the future. As Becky said, we’re here to help you succeed.

Hi Lanette,
Good question…
I recommend that you create your own spread sheet to list your content, etc.
For more specific information about this, Lane Romero Reiss put together a video which is a bit dated, but I think it will still help a lot.

The learning curve at Renegade Professional is thorough. I found meeting the criterion for Super Guides program energized me to get the work done in a timely manner.
The extra training received in the Super Guide program is invaluable. The opportunity to give back to the community and to others is an empowering win/win situation.

Hello Eric and Other Super Guides,
I am very excited about the program but have run into a technical snag and I need some quick advise.
One of my favorite bookmarking sites – Backflip – seems to have had a major meltdown. It has been down since this past Sunday and I have been following the saga on Twitter since. Long story – last post no ETA for recovery and fatal error even after new hardware installed.
Why is this an issue? I have been bookmarking there for sometime and only had 3 things left to bookmark to be able to submit to Super Guides. This is the only step I have left to complete.
I had been just waiting for Backflip but since the last update – I think I might need to jump ship to another site now. I have never Bookmarked anymore than 2 of my article in a day (along with all the others) and to get a new bookmarking site up to date – I would have to bookmark at least 6 pieces of my own content plus all the others to make it in time for the Oct. 22 deadline.
Good idea? Bad Idea? Any advise would be great. I also help my experience can help others as well in the future. (Note to all for future reference: Bookmark at a least one more site than you need.)
Sincerely,

After attending Barbara Silva’s classes on coaching, I had to put on the brakes. It was necessary to rethink my plan and how I was approaching it. I am grateful to Barbara Silva and really excited that I am part of a community where she has hung her hat. I’m really looking forward to Coaching Cognition. Barbara Silva is definitely the person to be leading this and to be learning from. Great Job!

After attending Barbara Silva’s coaching webinars, I had to stop the press. I realized how much I misunderstood of what a coach does and just how valuable they are in one’s business and personal life. Immediately, I signed up to start with Coaching Cognition. I’m really looking forward to working with a top leader like Barbara Silver.

I recently had the privilege of participating in a conference call with Ann Sieg. I shared with her these coaching sessions are what I have been waiting for all my life. I should clarify that statement, all my marketing life.
I knew one day something would come along and everything would fit into place. When I heard Barbara on the first webinar I knew at that moment my pieces were all coming together. I immediately made an urgent plea to get me in the first session.
I am excited beyond measure waiting to begin.

I am just as excited as everyone else! When I see the incredible people that are wanting to get on board with Coaching Cognition I can hardly get to sleep at night.
I can’t wait to have the opportunity to work more closely with you and to share the coaching experience.
I am also happy to share with you that my daughter, Kendall, has come on board and is lending her considerable expertise in helping to create some of the materials you will be receiving as a part of the training. Kendall has an extensive coaching and counseling background. As she likes to say, she and I are “so related!” and it has been an absolute pleasure to share with her our vision.
Every step of the way, Coaching Cognition is opening doors of opportunity for so many. I am truly blessed and honored to be a part of such an outstanding community.

When I started about a year and half ago, I had no clue what marketing online was like. It has been a sobering but also exhilarating experience and continues to be so.
Now that I have found a home as a Renegade super guide and understand the importance of giving more value than I take, I want to share my experience with others and help them to cut out what’s not important and focus on what’s real for them.
The Coaching Cognition program will be where I learn those skills. I can hardly contain myself!

I have totally enjoyed getting to understand the process involved relative to the up and coming coaching and how everything is tying into the overall Renegade Professional philosophy/community: excellence in action!

I have read that Winston Churchill, had prepared his famous quotes in advance, waiting for the right moment to deliver them. I do not know if it is true or not, yet I intuitively happened on to this one that perfectly describes my feeling when, you Barbara, offered the Coaching Cognition Certification Classes.
“All People occasionally stumble across the truth, but most pick themselves up and continue as if nothing had happened” Winston Churchill
I knew that I didn’t want to ‘stumble across the truth’ and act ‘as if nothing has happened’ ….
I would say to anyone else that feels that intuitive pull…. to get on board with Coaching Cognition… because I believe you have stumbled across your truth..

What a wonderful quote, Tom! I’ll have to keep that one handy. And isn’t it true?
I have become keenly aware of the doors that open. I know they must have always been there, but I never saw them before. Things really started to happen when I plucked up the courage to walk through.
Now, I get to stand at the door, waving others inside.
Lee, “excellence in action” is what I see in our community as well. Rosemary, and Marie, Warren, Patty, Bolaji and Donnalynn – your very names are bringing up for me the image of excellence.
I look forward to learning from each one of you.
And here’s my quote to share…I found it on one of my favorite teacher sites: A teacher’s (coach) purpose is not to create students in his own image, but to develop students who can create their own image. -Anonymous This is what Mike Klingler does every day!

If there is anyone that knows the “Esstentials” of business it is Barbara. We are so fortunate to have “Coaching Cognition” so close at hand.Barbara it is so wonderful that you too get to share so much of what you do with your daughter and your daughter able to share so much with you. I’m grateful and proud to have been a member of the first coaching class.
I remember first hearing about the opportunity and being immediately excited by the vision … or what I knew of the vision at the time. What I knew then was more than enough to get me involved.
What I did not anticipate was how much I would learn from interacting with other people in the group. Every single person is an expert in their own right and brings experience and perspective. The learning opportunity is much bigger and broader than I realized at the beginning.
Coaching Cognition keeps growing, not just because more top quality people are getting involved every day, but also because Barbara continues to define the scope and communicate the vision.
I look forward to seeing, and interacting with, the new coaches coming on.

I see some questions about the live calls — I am very mindful that we have members from all over the world. I will be offering different time slots to accommodate time zones.
For the calls themselves, I use Skype. Once in a while the call drops, or there is an echo, but it has been very reliable and it’s very easy to immediately call back in should someone get dropped off the call.
I’m also recommending a headset and microphone like logitech. There is a button which makes muting and unmuting very easy – this is important when there are several people interacting on a call. The headset also allows my hands to be free to take notes!
Thank you all for your continued feedback. We should be getting this show on the road within the next few days!

You are offering (above) a free coach training webinar but once in, you ask for $49.99 which is a turn off to say the least. Feel free to delete this comment if you wish. I just wanted you to know that it is not a good idea to go about it in this manner. We have so much to read up with the genuine offers that we don’t need to be chasing after trojan horses. Not to say that the course isn’t good and profitable but why do must you resort to such juvenile manipulation to get one to sign up? I already bought “The Renegade Marketer” from Ann Sieg. From what I had time to read thus far, she sounds like a great person, genuine and very upfront. I don’t think that this would be her idea of smart marketing.

I get it.
There was a bug on this page:
http://renegadeuniversity.com/event/coachingskills/After you submit the contact info on that page you are supposed to see the webinar FREE. For some weird reason, which no one can now explain to me, there was only an order form there to join Renegade Professional.
Bad mistake on our part… it worked initially. When we changed servers recently some think that caused this.
I am sending an email now to everyone on that list to make sure they can access that webinar.
Yah, that kind of a strategy would not work to generate sales. Ugh. Not good. It is now corrected.
Thanks,

Having attended all the Webinars and having examined the full extent of the course, I have absolutely no doubt that Coaching Cognition will offer exceptional value. Relative to what a lot of other inferior products cost out there, the price is amazingly low. I am also pleased to see that there is a reasonable payment plan.
I am a paying member of Renegade Professional with a lot of prior teaching/training experience. I also realize I have a lot to share and give back with others, so am positive Coaching Cognition would be one of the best things for me to do to help facilitate this.
I have yet to become what I would consider a successful home business owner so using the skills I do have together with what I would learn as a Coaching Cognition coach would I am sure be an ideal way to make some additional income apart from the home business option.
With all of the above said, I can’t do it, even at the low price. As low as the price is, it’s still a relative figure and to me I just don’t have it. I would love to be able to find the money but I cannot run up any more debt as I have done enough of that on this journey.
I am sure there are many other people in the same situation as me so I was wondering in the future whether “Marketing Merge” would consider some alternative avenue for those of us who are totally cash strapped and not even able to afford the low price? I have three ideas –
I am thinking that perhaps you could offer one position on the course as a competition prize. The competition could be anything from making a video, writing a response or even coming up with a landing page ‘dummy’ which the entrant would have to use to explain why they should be chosen as the winner. I am sure this could also become a great marketing awareness tool for Coaching Cognition.
A second idea is that “Marketing Merge” could offer a ’scholarship’ type award of one position on a course. Those wanting to be considered would have to demonstrate in some way what they had done to give back to others for nothing and in so doing qualify to be considered for the ’scholarship’ position.
Thirdly maybe a “pay forward” option of being sponsored up front and then as a coach paying back the fee. In other words paying back more to Marketing Merge than the current structure in place for paying students.
Well thanks for reading this anyway. The course looks great. All my best wishes to those involved.

Hi Ann, Mike and Barbara,
I loved the webinar Tuesday night and am truly looking forward to meeting everyone at the live event in January. I have coaching experience, a successful home-based business and I believe this Coaching Cognition training is going to elevate me to incredible heights. I am excited to become certified and have set a goal of becoming a Coach’s Coach – in writing.
Also, when can I expect information on the Orientation class tonight (Thursday)?
Thanks for everything.

Don’t Overlook THIS! Remove the Mystery of Building Business
A while back I wrote about ‘Influence Factor’ – it’s a missing piece to the success puzzle I notice most overlook. That’s what makes it so important for you to review (again if you’ve reviewed before).
Everything we do here at Renegade Professional and Renegade Breakthrough Mentoring Program is to develop your ability to influence. So that regardless of what opportunity, business, or circumstance you find yourself in, you can make whatever it is you want to happen HAPPEN.

When Mike said:
“I’m talking about accomplishing everything you want FASTER by making it your #1 intention to focus on the essential list. Are you ready for that?”I knew I was in the right place at the right time. After a year of bouncing around the net from one system to another, this is home.
We know we have to provide value but what a lot of us don’t know is that value has a “form” in the shape of a “formula”.
Mike’s teachings and example are are providing this formula and forming me into the person that I always knew was there. It only needed the opportunity to emerge.

I just re-read the article ‘Your Influence Factor’ and it had an impact on me. I read it first a long time ago and filed it away in the memory banks but never pulled it out again. I’m glad that you brought it to my attention once again.
Everything you say is ’spot on’ and without ‘influence’ you can’t touch people, attract them to you, or even move forward in the business.
I have seen that personally so I understand the importance of the ‘influence factor’.
I recently attended a webinar about ‘Connecting’ and again, the focus although about ‘Connecting’ is really about ‘the influence factor’, without which, it’s hard to ‘Connect’. Knowing what you have to offer and the value you can share is paramount to ‘influence’.
I really, really needed to go back and read this article again and I’m so glad I did.
The confidence that comes from increasing knowledge and communicating it with others can’t be overestimated.
Thanks again Mike, your ability to teach is inspiring and I’m so glad to be here.

Hi, coaching is talked about everywhere it seems these days. Our President in his first ‘State of the Union’ speech talked about the need of 100,000 coaches needed now. Even Tiger has had coaches. What a project to get started in the ‘Renegade’ world. I’m surprised that I’m making what appears to be the firest comment. I think we all should be shouting it from the top of every hill, now. Come take a look and join us now. I’ve been in sales for over 40 yrs and have never had a coach, I’ve done what could be considered coaching all thru those years without anyone ever talking about what coaching is or how good or bad the coaching was. I joined the International Coaching Assocation several years ago and I have no idea what they do, why because it wasn’t about my coaching it was what they thought it was, are we going to change that?
Can’t wait for all this to get going. Thanks Mike and Ann your efforts could change everthing. MJComment by Marshall Joyce — September 18, 2009 @ 9:48 am

Lane,
Your presentation of “We, Inc” is such a great conceptualization of a manner of collaborating, branding and working that many of us have been doing for a long time. But you have put into very concrete words and a concrete form with the development of Renegade Referrals.
Collaboration, coaching with a true emphasis on the needs of others, entrepreneurship and long term residual income in my opinion will form the corner stones of the 21st Century Economy. “We, Inc” encompasses all of that.

Lane & company,
This mindset is a tremendously needed part of the puzzle that has caused many well meaning internet marketers to struggle & spin their wheels.
As an experienced coach & trainer to the network marketing industry for several years I know the real deal when I see it.
What you have put together is destined to be internationally renowned for the growth & success to the hordes of people in every aspect of the network marketing indusrty looking for help to experience greater levels of success.
I especially like the subheading “We, Inc.” Leverages the Power of “You, Inc.” to Make it Work for You.
This sums up the tremendous benefit of associating with & connecting to those with an abundance mindset built on the principles of integrity.
I’m honored to be apart of the founding group of Business Builders in Renegade Referrals , A Fellow Super Guide , Trainer & Coach working with & learning from you Lane.

Lane, you are so on top of this concept — I know you have been talking about this for some time now, and you express it so well. Any one of us is capable of doing great things. But together, we can do something AMAZING.
I love the new ways that our community is able to interact with one another – find each other, support each other, learn from each other and collaborate.
It’s exciting to see the leaders that are emerging from this program and to be able to watch them flourish.

Someone asked me the other day, “Isn’t ‘We, Inc.’ the same thing as…a corporation?” In other words, isn’t a corporation just a grouping of individuals coming together to work on a common vision, and the whole is greater than the sum of its parts?
Well, this is partially true, but “We, Inc.” differs from a traditional corporate business model in a very important way. The leverage goes BOTH ways in “We, Inc.”. That is, the group benefits from the collective efforts of the individuals within it, and the individuals leverage their individual projects through their association with the group.
As I stated above, if the individual isn’t given the platform to shine in some way through their association with the group, then it is not what I would consider “We, Inc.”
From what I’ve seen so far, the Coaching Cognition and Super Guides programs certainly qualify. Of course, I am making every effort to ensure that Renegade Referrals adheres to these same standards.
“We, Inc.” IS the next phase in the evolution of how business is being done. WE has arrived! (and that IS proper grammar)

Hi Lane,
It has been wonderful to be part of a group of people all with a common goal. You, Inc can be such a lonely place, not to mention so much harder. When a bunch of people all come together for one goal, the outcome is so much greater. I love being a member of We, Inc.
Thanks for the inspiration, Lane.

Hey Lane:
Love your message here.
You lay it out so clearly for us – many thanks for that.
WARREN BUFFET is quoted as saying…
– “There is no such thing as a SELF-made millionaire”.
NAPOLEON HILL (’Think And Grow Rich’) has said…
– “We need the support and leadership from a TEAM of people who see the same vision that we do – our MASTERMIND group.
When we reach larger and larger levels success and prosperity, it virtually impossible for us to be a ONE PERSON show (YOU, Inc).
WE, Inc is indeed about COLLABORATION and the beauty of LEVERAGE – but it also needs to be about OPTIMIZATION (the extended economy of ‘time’).
Great comments above.
Sincerely / Peter A.

Hi Lane “We, Inc.” is such a beautiful concept. I was first introduced to it as a therapist and found it particularly powerful when working with couples.
I love the way you have described the concept so clearly to show how it is applicable to the business world, the internet and Renegade. I found your point that ‘everyone must pull their weight, and add to the value of the whole’ particularly valuable when thinking in terms of JV partnerships.
Thank you Lane for a wonderful, thought provoking start to Conversation Corner.

Lane, you articulated “We, Inc.” well defining the collaboration of the Renegade Super Guides program, the Coaching Cognition program, and your Renegade Referrals program. From individuals, to an actual program, wow.
In the past, my experience with collaboration in a group was really effective when people just listened to each other first and just brainstormed. That is one of my favorite stages of the collaborative process. The creativity that comes out is so fun. The “We, Inc.” makes work fulfilling.
Thanks for writing this article, Lane.

Lane,
Great job communicating these concepts – you are exactly right. The real power and leverage comes from joining with other like-minded individuals all pulling toward a common goal.
It may be possible to make progress, maybe even enough progress, working alone … but with the solo approach, success is either unlikely or very tiring!
A quick comment about the corporation question you fielded. First, I agree with you that it is NOT the same thing. “Corporation” does not equate with “We, Inc.” in so many areas.
I just wanted to share one idea on that topic.
Corporations are often a ‘zero sum’ game, meaning that for one individual to do better, another has to do worse. Raises, promotions, and other examples are easy to see.
In “We, Inc.”, one individual doing better creates a better reality for another individual. Co-authoring, Group publicity with individuals highlighted, and other examples are easy to see. Completely different approach, and outcome.
Personally, I am actively looking for “We, Inc.” opportunities!

@Peter: You make a great point about optimization. It is an important aspect of the “We, Inc.” model, because it eliminates a lot of the redundancy which inevitably comes from many individuals applying the “You, Inc.” concepts to their own businesses.
@Kisane: I would like to learn more about how this concept was introduced to you as a therapist. Was the term, “We, Inc.” actually used, and was it in the same way? I would not be surprised if my idea was already out there, in some form or another. I just hadn’t seen it expressed in this way before.
@Michael: If you are truly interested in a “We, Inc.” opportunity, you would always be welcome over at Renegade Referrals. We should talk soon.
I think it will be helpful to create a short video presentation of the “We, Inc.” concept, in order to illustrate the difference between it and the standard corporate, “zero-sum” model. I will do that soon, and post a link here when it is done.

Lane,
What a super job of explaining ‘We Inc’. What I particularly like is how you explained the point of difference between our version of ‘We Inc’ compared to that in a corporation. I hadn’t even thought of comparing the two but it was a good question that was asked.
I think for many of us, although we have mostly worked with other people in our traditional jobs, hardly any of us have worked with others to benefit and support each other. We were a bunch of individuals who just happened to work together but not to help each other move forward in the organization.
‘We Inc’ as we are embracing it is far greater than many might think possible and I would also imagine that there might be some skeptics out there. All I can say is ‘Watch this space’ because the sum of our parts is so much greater than our individual selves.
‘We Inc’ has arrived:)

The neat thing about Renegade Referrals is the trust in each other and value-based marketing developed in the process of “WE INC”.
Imagine how positive the experience will be to say to the prospect you are engaging with: “you know, I think your needs will be better met working with…let me know how that works out.” !
I think it will be a first time ever and this kind of value marketing will get leverage.
thanks Lane and team for making it happen.

This is the great thing about the internet and how it has changed traditional business structures. Everyone now has the option of participating in a collaborative effort with like minded individuals of there choice.
Yes building your YOU,Inc is a necessary task when branding yourself as a leader. But the ultimate success comes from bringing like minded together WE,Inc as you say.
From here it’s then a communicative process of moving these like minds in a positive or could be negative, direction to the desired goal of the group.
No one person can do everything, but by collaborating and leveraging individual talents of the group WE,Inc can move mountains.

It would seem that this recession has brought about a lot of soul searching by a lot of people. Their confidence has been knocked, their belief in the ‘normal’ structures such as government, waged work, banks has been severely tested, and people have become very concerned about what to believe, and who to trust. The supposed experts are now being exposed as ordinary people, and hopefully the ordinary people will start to see that their ideas, skills and opinions have value.

Hi Lane & Co,
You show that there is no contradiction in being all “You Inc.” and at the same time being committed to, contributing and working in “We Inc.”. It is even the contrary. You need to be your true self and being that find the perfect match and then develop together. I love it the way you put the words. Being a coach in the non-virtual world I am pritty much living that concept without having it labeled in this great way. But on the internet I still have to learn a lot to be that, too. Coaching Cognition is off to a tremendous start with requests for the upcoming training pouring in.

I am so priviledged to know that my name is on the list for Coaching Cognition. I listened to both Claire’s and Eric’s comments on their experience with the beta phase of this program. I know that their lives are forever changed.
Eric coached me for a season and I can vouch for his very targeted, yet intuitive ability to get to the core of the matter. Eric was able, because of the skills he acquired in Coaching Cognition to zero in on the central area of development need.
I look forward to participating, growing as a person and business owner.

Not Getting Paid to Coach? You’re Probably Not that Valuable.
With Coaching Cognition, I learned how to be valuable. I fit myself into the Coaching Cognition platform, and now I’m getting clients sent to me who pay.
Now I can call myself a coach.
Before…
I was one of the people who called themselves a coach.
We see it all the time, it’s in their profile descriptions at the Social Media locations. It’s sounds similar to this:
“Hi I’m First Last, an internet network marketing coach and consultant. Get coaching from me and I will teach you attraction marketing lead generation so you can leverage the power of the internet to build your online business the most effective way possible.”
With so many people saying that, unless you’re really IT, you won’t differentiate yourself and be an active coach.
Trust me – I went that route for months. Sure, there were months where I’d have a few coaching clients, but nothing predictable.
Then I decided to join Coaching Cognition because I wanted to be a REAL coach, who’d gone through REAL training with a “coach of coaches” who had received REAL coaching training.
That’s Barbara Silva. And that’s Coaching Cognition.
You can also find more about Coaching here for your convenience:
Webinar #1 Developing the Coaching Mindset
http://www.marketingmerge.com/backoffice/videos/CoachingMindset/presenta...
Webinar #2 Get Paid to Coach
http://www.marketingmerge.com/backoffice/videos/CoachingCognition/presen...
Upon going through the Coaching Cognition training, my confidence grew, and I realized NOW I’m a real PAID coach.
It’s already amazing, the Coaching Cognition platform has been sending me paying clients who already know who I am and want to receive coaching from me.

Some great information here for those wishing to get into coaching. I think its important to be clear on what you want to achieve.
Do you really want to be a coach? That could be coaching others on how to be successful but your business may revolve entirely around coaching.
That works well for solo-preneurs who can coach and get paid an hourly rate and also package their knowledge into information products and thus create some passive income.
Coaching alone is still only trading time for dollars so its really important to be clear on what you want because the odds are you will attract it if you stick with it!
In Network Marketing I’ve found that you very quickly see how valuable you are as a coach. You either get paid as a professional or you run your business as a hobby.
This course will be a brilliant asset to those who really want to develop coaching skills or even perhaps those who need to discover whether they have what it takes or have the passion to be a generic type coach.
For example I love the Network Marketing model of coaching because its fast paced and very focussed. I don’t enjoy the coaching where I get paid by the hour because it reminds me too much of a job. I get asked to do consulting work and I actually turn it down but am very happy to consult with people on the right direction for them when they become a team member or affiliate with me.
Its funny but just goes to show that we are all unique and need to find our passion as Mike always says.
Keep the good stuff coming guys! You inspire us all to greater things.

Coaching is something you are either good at or not. Many try to coach without any idea how to share their unique skills. Some who gain knowledge and experience failure in their chosen area of interest turn to coaching as a way to redeem the time they put into learning. DO NOT follow a coach unless they have been successful in their area of expertise. I spent many years in direct sales of financial service products and met many manager/coaches who failed at selling and were no better at coaching new people. The best coach is one who has failed his/her way to the top of their field. These coaches know how to be successful. So the bottom line in selecting a coach is finding a successful individual who also has developed leadership/ coaching skills. NOT ALL SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE MAKE GOOD COACHES! SO Develop your leadership?coaching skills before attempting to coach others! Good coaches gain satisfaction from helping others, false coaches only care about the monetary return for time. Are you willing to enrich other for the satisfaction of seeing them succeed in life and business?

I have been busy studying all these weeks, months. And I enjoyed everything, Ann, Mike, David (Garfinkel) – and now I am finally beginning to feel ready. Need to take some pictures of myself, We have created a company, new email addresses etc. I will start with the Marketing merge profile, and web (Living with a purpose). And then my own web. And I really would like to study coaching!! But I live in Brussels, Belgium, so I can not interact with the other students (time zone difference). Do you have a solution ?

Hi Arlette,
I’m pretty sure they’ll be quite a few others from your time zone (or close to it) in Coaching Cognition.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Barbara will be able to facilitate you!
Email support@marketingmerge.com and ask that very question. She is an amazing person who seems to always find a way to help someone make it work.

The idea that we should “find a mentor” or “find a coach” has been in the MLM tradition for quite a while. A number of the guru MLM books give that advice. Finally, we have Renegade Professional merging the best of internet marketing (check!), network marketing (check!), and now coaching (triple check!). The merge grows. So what is the role of a coach or mentor – I took a stab at that here: http://www.squidoo.com/FindaBizCoach
